FLUSHMATE Flush Cartridge Kit, for Use with 500, 501, 501A, 501B, 503, and 504 Series Flushmate System

I hope if your looking at this then you need to consider something. There more than one model number for cartridges (C-100500-KIT, C-100501-KIT, and C-100502-KIT). If you go on their site and select their parts number you will need the serial number. Mainly the 3 digit number which is the maker of the toilet itself. Then it should give you the correct cartridge part. I'm sure the part i received is not the one i needed. I ended up ordering from flushmate themselves.

Our toilet equipped with a Flushmate 500 was running constantly and also sometimes made a screeching noise when the tank was refilling. This kit contains a new cartridge, plus inlet screen and duckbill valve. Replacing all three items was easy, although getting the old cartridge out was tough. They recommend using plier handles; I ended up using the plier feet on the fins in the cartridge. I thought the instructions were easy to follow. Note that, in my case, the new cartridge did not need to be tightened all the way down--make sure you follow the instruction to turn the cartridge and wait a few seconds to see if the tank starts to fill. Mine needed to be backed out a couple of turns.

I received the product in good condition in an OEM looking bag. I researched the model number and verified the part numbers. After deciding to use this product I felt comfortable we had the right part.Upon fitting into the existing tank, I noticed the threads would just spin. It has a different hieght than the original part. The threads were cut to thin, and would spin after some torque was applied. This is not good, body was useless and I had a customers toilet down.I noted part difference in pictures. I scavenged the orings from the new part, and reused the original part. Basically I wasted 30 plus dollars on o-rings and threw the part away. Do your research, make sure you source a durable product.

Somehow our toilet flusher has been giving us trouble and not doing its job. My husband had me order two of these because they work perfectly on our toilet and he has accepted that we need a backup---for the next time it stops working. The last one lasted @5 years, so I think we are safe for a long time

Missing a screw and filter screen , looks like I’m receiving something someone else returned???

Easy to install, also watched video on YouTube - everything went in fine - however, duck bill valve leaked into the tank through air intake hole - steady drip. Removed it, cleaned it, inspected it - reinstalled twice - still leaked...ended up using the old one which is still functioning leak free.

I need to return.Our handyman could not figure these out. We had to buy a complete full toilet.Plus I meant to order just ONE, NOT 2

Fixed just like new.
