Great value on classic jean
I really like the fit and the price of these jeans. I am trying to get away from just wearing "blue" jeans. These are perfectly casual and comfortable without looking too dressed up or dressed down like in blue jeans. I agree with some other reviews that these don't have the feel of the traditional 501's of 20 years ago, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. As I recall it took multiple washes and wearings to get the thicker material of the old 501's to be comfortable. These are comfortable the first time you put them on. I assume that the material may be as "tough" as the older thicker 501's. But then again, I wear them for the style and not as work wear. Regarding the style, there are so many jeans out there today that cost hundreds of dollars in every cut from super skinny to baggy that I just can't get into. You know, you can't go wrong with a classic like the levi 501 and I think it keeps you looking good and stylish without being a slave to fashion trends.

Perfect fit!
First off , they are button fly. These were for my husband who is 6 ft 1" & weighs around 190lbs. His inseam is a 34 and these jeans were the perfect fit with his boots. The material is NOT stretchy. These are comparable to the original Levi's. NOT quite as thick as original ones from 30 yrs ago , but still are an awesome pair of Levis. I kept dropping things to make him bed over lol they are worth the 💰 money!

501's Good Fit, Classic Style
I remain a fan of 501's. They always seem to fit better/feel more comfortable than other jeans and they hold up for a reasonably long time. The pair that I bought in Nov 2016 fits just as well as those I've bought in the past. I'm also a repeat buyer of the tan "Timberwolf" color -- t goes really well with many different shirt colors, just as khakis do.. I do agree with those other reviewers who say that Levi's seems to be using thinner fabrics (probably to save money and, perhaps, to make them more appealing in market areas with warmer climates south of the border where 501's remain somewhat popular). Even so, the lighter fabric does not wear out particularly fast in my experience. Style-wise, 501's are not what most American guys are wearing anymore and many hate the button fly design, but I think they still look better than most jeans that are on the market.

Product fits great and the color is accurately described. Love them.
They fit true to size and had no loose threads or defects upon inspection.I think the material is thinner than I remember for 501 jeans, but in am very happy with my choice and they were worth the wait. What wait? It tooks a few weeks for them to show up, but I ordered a color that I couldn't find anywhere in the "metal" so I wouldn't expect to see the same delays on more traditional colors. They are worth the wait though!! I wear them with motorcyle boots and they fit easy over them despite not being a boot cut jean. They did not shrink, at least not noticeably, in the washer and dryer cycle either which is always a concern with jeans. I am also able to use a wide leather belt in them without any issues threading through the belt loops. The fly buttons were much easier to use than I recall, so that was a bonus.I love the fit and look and would definitely buy again.

Don't like the legs size
I bought my last pair of Levi's around 3 or 4 years ago. Those were a 505 Regular FitCouldn't find them anymore, so I give a try to this 501 "Classic".Waist is ok, long is ok, material ok, but the size around my legs are kind of small for me, it's tight in the top and loose in the bottom. and I don't have a big butt.I liked my Levi's because they used to give me the freedom I wanted, now when I get into my car or sit down I'm afraid to torn them. I feel like trapped in a tight pants.Even if I want to use them to ride a bike or a horse, I might give it a second thought. Please don't get me wrong, but this are supposed to be a pair of pants for MEN... not for people who like to use a pair of pants like a second skin.I do remember in the past that doesn't matter, was just a pair of Levi's and that's it.Hope you change your mind and get back to really "CLASSIC" model.I won't use another model designed exclusively for something, I want this model to get back what is used to be.As many around here, would be really sad that I change Levi's for something else. I've been using Levi's for 35 years.A pair of Levi's was designed for everything, I know at the begining was for workers but that doesn't matter because they were easy to wash, would last for years and are perfect for any ocasion.Hope this are not my last. Please don't destroy a Classic just because you think this is the new era, Levi's should be CLASSIC forever and ever. That's why they are still used nowdays.Best regards.
