Works Great!
I’ve been using this for years. It’s the best thing to get rid of isolating hums& ground problems. It works great!

Had the opposite of the intended effect on my recordings
I hate to give a bad review to anything. I don't know if I just got a bad unit, but this introduced additional noise to my recordings. I can't think of how I could have used it incorrectly. I tried it at different points in the signal chain and each time the hum actually got louder. With all the great reviews it's received from audio pros, I don't doubt that it's a good piece of equipment, but this particular one I received just didn't work as expected.

Got rid of ground loop hum noise from church PA speakers
We started having humming noise from our PA amplified speakers, which was caused by ground loop after doing a minor electrical work. We were going to get a more expensive hum eliminator from another brand, but it was all sold out due to shortage of supplies. We took a chance and this worked fine, and got rid of all the noise. It is plugged into the main mixer's output and its output is connected to the PA mixers via XLR cables. We bought only one and split into two output, as we were doing mono. However, if doing stereo, it'd be better to buy one that has 2 channel. Also the audio sounds fine and we didn't notice anything weird.

Purchased for donation and not personal use
Purchase for donation to church as on their music department list of items for donation. Did not purchase for my own personal use and theirfore cannot give a product evaluation.

Works as advertised, but at a cost.
This device works as intended, getting rid of any hum/buzzing sound but unfortunately removes ALOT of bass and makes the music sound tinny and weak. You'd have to over compensate greatly. I don't recommend this for a DJ.

A sound person must have.
I'm a professional sound engineer and do hundreds of live shows per year. With so many different musicians, there are always some who have older gear or a problematic instrument or amplifier that produce noise or ground loops. I always have a few of these Sescom filters with me in my gear arsenal and they have saved countless problems immediately and with no discernable loss of signal or alteration of sound or tone. Plug it in and problem solved. It's just that easy. Fantastic product that I always have with me.

This is a show saver
This little wonder is amazing. We had a very famous (actually a rock legend) artist performing in one of my venues. They brought consoles so we only used the house racks and stacks. For some reason we had a nasty buzz on the sub-woofer line. I popped an IL-19 inline and the buzz disappeared. The foh engineer, tour manager and venue manager immediately relaxed, I was a hero and the show went on without the distraction of buzzing subs. This is a show saver. Buy two.

It works but degrades the strength of the signal.I should spend some time and figure out the cause of the hum than using devices like this. Sad to say that I don't have the time and resources to do the research in the church at this point. So, living with it for the time being.
