I only have the collar on my pup for less than 20 minutes a day. I always turn it off. It goes dead within 24 hours (with only 20 minutes of use). Terrible battery. Very disappointing. Went back to brand.

** Update May 2022 ** - Well, the battery lasted about a year before no longer holding a charge. It would've been better if I could get more life out of the battery but for the cheapo price, I guess this is as good as it's going to get. Dwindling stars for the short battery life.-- original review below --This replacement battery is just 1/16 inch too big to be a perfect fit... which can be overcome by just physically cramming it in the compartment. I was afraid that bending the battery just a bit would cause a problem, but non yet. Other than that, the pin fits well, there's enough power, and your Dogtra collar will be back to functioning like it should. Swapping out the battery takes no time at all. Just unscrew the 4 screws, pop out the old battery, squeeze in the new one, recharge, and you're up and running.The overall battery life between charges seems to be back to normal. If this replacement battery lasts a year, I'll be quite happy with that. Buying a replacement battery once a year is doable.

Listing says his battery is universal for a variety of collars. After nearly an hour of being completely unable to get it to fit in the receiver casing, I ended up having to cut the outer plastic shell. Product needs to be tried out in all models it states it fits in. If it still didn’t fit after I’d cut it, I would have been stuck with it. Too much like the false “one size fits all” fallacy

Does not fit a dogtra IQ model. This battery is too long to fit into the collar compartment.
