OK so fast and loose with historical accuracy and an honorable if not happy story line, that said the romance in this story was at times very sweet and the characters were personable and relatable. A little slow to start but as the story unfolded it also became more engaging and despite the warnings I have put forth I found it to be an interesting and engaging read that I would recommend!**I voluntarily chose to review a copy of this book and I have not been compensated in any way**

Wow, I really loved this book. At first, I was like what. But I continued to read and loved how the author took me back in time. He writing was descriptive enough to be able to see the life back in time Japan. I really enjoyed their coming Nobunaga and Ranmaru’s together. I immediately felt their connection to one another. Ranmaru was a true little warrior. I loved that Nobunaga did not hold him back from field training, war and any other because of his beauty and size. I thoroughly loved this read. The only complaint I have is that this looks to be part 1 or another. I did not like the ending, it left you hanging. Well, I really hope there is a part 2 anyway. I really do hope that their love does not end this way. I received an ARC for an honest review

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.Overall, this book was good. The writing was good and the history interesting and not a period usually explored. The thing that made it a bit of a miss for me was that the romance wasn't really that romantic. The relationship between Nobunaga and Ranmaru is OK, but at the end of the day, just didn't connect with me.

This book is a historical treasure! I was given an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. It is well written with historical references about a love that lasted till the end. Look forward to reading more from this author. Readers will not be disappointed with this book.

I received this story as an ARC, so let's just say this story wasn't for me. At first I was a little confused by the character names and writing structure but has I read it it became easier to understand. The story was a cute love story between the characters that slowly developed until the end.

I have very mixed feelings about this work. It wasn't nearly long enough to feel fleshed out. However, the subject is never and dear to my heart.
