Dipamkar® Handmade Metal Pelican Garden Ornaments Metal Sculpture Statues (L)

The pelican garden ornament was purchased as a 70th birthday gift for my sister in law who runs a driving school called Pelican. Both she and her husband loved the gift but are still undecided about where to place it so not to upset the fish in their pond and the many chickens and ducks that wander around the garden. It is a bit scary.The ornament arrived well packed and easy to assemble by clipping the two wings on. We could not find a method of clipping the wings flat as shown in one of the illustrations. It will require anchoring down with metal tent pegs round its feet, due to it being quite light and any stiff breeze will make it a flying pelican. It is large the same size as the real thing. It is very well made, colourful and with realistic feathers and markings. Hopefully, when it is positioned it will last for many years. A lovely much-appreciated gift at a very realistic price.
