Correction: Based on my initial review of the Koolatron W65 33-Quart Kargo Wheeler Cooler/Heater, Amazon took it upon itself to send me a replacement cooler, same brand and model. In addition, Amazon emailed me a postage-paid sticker to use to return the defective product to them via UPS. Thank you, Amazon! You're a real stand-up company!HERE'S MY INITIAL REVIEW: The Koolatron W65 33-Quart Kargo Wheeler Cooler/Heater is a very poorly made product. I used it solely as a cooler, and never as a heater. It was plugged into an AC outlet for 7 days, and then plugged into car's cigarette lighter for 5 days while traveling. A tremendous amount of condensation forms constantly and drips onto the contents. When the cover is opened, several ounces of condensation pours out onto the fridge contents. I had to keep a dishtowel inside the cooler to sop up the water. Neither environment kept contents colder than ~43 degrees. Because I would lose a lot of money on the purchase price plus having to pay shipping to return the item, I'm stuck with a malfunctioning product. I am very disappointed in this product and do not recommend it to other buyers.

Cold water and food is great while on the road. We bought this for our first roadtrip down south. We like the fact we don't need to deal with ice!! However there are a few things you should know before you puchase it. The lid is top heavy, so it comes down harder than most cooler lids when barely touched. The latch to keep it securely closed will not last long- the plastic is rather cheap. Water does drip into the cooler so things do get a little wet, but nothing like if there was melting ice in it!! You should purchase the adapter cord to plug into the wall. Rolling it into the hotel and plugging it in, no ice hassle, no emptying melted ice- this is a huge time saver. The adapter does get hot and you can hear the gentle hum of the fan.

Yesterday I received a Koolatron W65 Kargo Wheeler which I had ordered from Amazon.com. The cooler arrived in a cardboard box, with NO protective packaging. There was NO Manual or instructions of any kind, either in the box or in the cooler. There were NO extra cables.When I placed my order with Amazon, I also ordered a Koolatron Power Adapter and a Koolatron Battery Saver.The only electrical connection from the cooler is a very short cord which protrudes from the back lid on the motor side. The end on that is a plastic rectangle which has 2 pins inside of it. What this plugs into I have no idea, but my guess is that there is a missing cable of some sort??Amazon.com will not do anything initially until they hear what Koolatron's response is to this enquiry.Questions that I have are; 1) is this plain box with no protective packaging the way in which this product is normally shipped? 2) do they normally ship the product with no manual/instructions/warranty info of any kind? 3) are there missing parts from the shipment, especially power plug-ins ? 4) if I ever get the power cord(s) that seem to be missing, then I find that the cooler does not work, because it may have been damaged due to lack of protective packaging, then who will take care of replacing the product, Koolatron or Amazon.When I ordered this cooler, and paid hundreds of dollars for it, I kind of thought that it would be a good product to invest in. So far I am totally disappointed. This info was sent to Koolatron two business days ago, and so far no reply.

This is a terrible product. The first one I ordered came with a broken handle and a corner of the lid was chipped off. It also arrived without any packaging, just in a delivery box that was damaged, not taped well and had holes in it. It was very dusty and dirty as well. I though perhaps the delivery is what damaged it so I returned it and requested a replacement. The pictures shown is the replacement cooler that was sent. One hinge of one of the lids was completely broken. The top piece of the other lid was cracked almost completely down the middle (shown in picture). The locking mechanism wouldn't close and more chipped pieces from who knows where were floating around in the box. Again, this cooler didn't come in any packaging except the delivery box. I would suggest better packaging so it won't move around and get damaged during delivery. However, if this is getting dinged up and broken during delivery, I'm lead to believe that this is cheap quality and not worth the price. I found this exact cooler at Target and ordered that, which is $30 cheaper too, so we'll see if it comes damaged or not. I may just return that as well now that I see that Colman and other brands make a similar product. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

I order one of these coolers and it arrived damaged. Amazon was very fast in sending another one, and did so without waiting for a return. Bravo Amazon!!The second one works well and as advertised. It cools items inside to about 40 degrees cooler than the outside air temp. Our hotel room was about 72 and inside the cooler I found small ice crystals around the exit to the blower.Lastly, while trying to tow the cooler with a small number of things inside, both wheels broke off. It's a poor design and I am disappointed in the company for allowing this to market. The handle and wheels seem like a design for a child's toy.Get the units without the wheels. They are useless.

It's a cooler and it's easy to move and it keeps everything nice a chilled but it not meant to be left pluged in all nite in a hotel. We didn't know that and they didn't tell us that that could cause the motor to burn out in five days. It could have been the moister that built up on the inside. Or it could be there was some hot air blowing down on the cooler from a small air vent. The only problem is it broke on are trip home so we da to buy a one those cheap beach cools for the next three days and stop more often. It's great for a day at the beach or a sort trip or even a short camping trip. Never take it on a six day car trip with heat on. Warm might be ok,but "HOT" NO.

We previously owned a Koolatron, probably for about 20 years. It was so useful and reliable that we decided to go with the same brand even after checking out others. We wanted to upgrade to one with wheels. The only thing we find with our new one is the split lid makes it harder to close/lock and when the clasp is not exactly done all the way, the lid splits and falls towards you. I banged my hand several times. Other than that, it works well and holds more than enough!

Alright size but smaller than I imagined, will keep food cool but not cold which is a food safety concern for me. Cover leash is too short so the cover will close unexpectedly and really loudly. I thought I would love the fact that the cover is split but I really don't because of the fact that the part with the vent/motor is so heavy. Also, You cannot just lock the vent/motor part and leave the other part unlocked. I might return it and get a better/bigger model as I am not totally satisfied with it. I initially bought it because of the wheels but I realize you need to be really short to haul it on its wheels and I am only 5'3'' so I prefer just to lift it.

Had to order an extra adapter to plug into 110, should come with one for the price. Cooling is okay, not great.

I order by amzon but when I was checking the product quality so poor and same parts are missing then return back Amazon they refunded my money ,but Amazon are selling used products
