There is no flex at all. Very stable. Had it for a few months and is all good!

Q: Would this hold an iphone 14?

Yes, it will hold an iPhone 14, even if it is the IPhone 14 Pro Max. However, if it is the Pro Max and it’s fitted with a chunky case, you will find that it will only just about fit this phone holder. Otherwise the standard 14 or a Pro Max in a slim case will easily fit.

Q: Description says it can fit phones from 3.5-6.5 inches. but only extends to 4 inches. Maybe the description needs changing on this?

It can fit my 6.5 inch phone but can only hold it from the sides and not from the top to bottom

Q: I have a metal bed with a round frame. Would the holder grip the frame well enough?

It is a little bit risky. It won't solid as a flat table surface. You should support the double side of the holding grip with something like a sponge to prevent shifting. Also, it is related to how big is your bed round frame. If it is too big, I think my advice won't work.
