Excellent replacement for more expensive brands
There's a tiny bit of difference in the heft of these compared to the more expensive brand I was using before, but they work every bit as good. I use them for all of my pro audio circuits now, from guitar pedals to buffered splitters, to anything else I might need to build. They fit the same standard NYS2152G footprint, so you can just use that in your PCB editor.

wish i found these a long time ago.. great value for money. i wish they had the slotted lugs so you could run a wire inside it, but not going to complain about that so much. using for guitar pedals. works great, feels solid, best way to go that i'm aware of!

PCB fit and mount right-on... OD slightly larger
used as replacement for original Cliff jack on PCB. It fit PCB and mounted to the correct height. Though, Jack OD is ~0.020" larger than original Cliff jack... small effort to enlarge the amp chassis. Operated as expected. Interested to see long term reliability. Good replacement for hard to find original.

Replacing the receptacles on an old amplifier.
Replacing the plug-in receptacles on an older amplifier, these connectors appeared to have done the trick. But there was some additional work that needed to be done. And I had to go back in and adjust the contacts on these receptacles in order to ensure good connections. I recommend these electrical connectors. They are inexpensive and easy to adapt to your circuit board.

Unexpected modifications?
I bought these to use in pedals. I intend to use them soldered into circuit boards.I just received them this afternoon, opened the bag of twenty and examined one. They are plastic with metal contacts that both lift off paired switch contacts which would be good for extension speakers and such where a signal would feed to one load and switch that load off when a cord was plugged in to supply a different load.I won't be using the contacts that send signal when a cord isn't inserted. At least not for pedals.My issue is that the pins I've checked on a couple of the jacks are a little too big to insert into my breadboard or the prototyping board I am currently using to mock up fuzz circuits. Both of those will snuggly accept a piece of 20 AWG copper wire. The pins under the jacks appear to be as wide as a piece of 20 AWG wire, but they're just a little too big.I suppose I can lightly hit them with a file, but I wasn't expecting to have to modify them. I can use a small drill bit to expand 4 holes on the fiberglass boards, but I was hoping to be able to plug two onto the breadboard for input and output jacks to test my attempted mods. I currently have two jacks with wires soldered to the pin and shield lugs, but they flop around precariously. So, I suppose I'll be filing at least a couple unless I find that some have smaller pins, or I find that filing is easier than drilling boards. If that's the case, I'll be filing all of them. Or, if I happen to get boards that have slightly bigger holes. I have no idea how long they'll be good. If I find that they wear out quickly, I'll add an addendum.

Provides an insulated Ring connection on a grounded metal chassis
Needed an insulated mount that didnโt allow the Ring connection on this TS jack to ground out to the metal chassis in order to run a mono bridge configuration on my power amp. This jack worked.
