Works Great-Very Sturdy.
I'm not a professional review writer as so many of the reviews for this product seemed to be, from my stand point. Also no one gave me this spiralizer in exchange for my honest review. I bought mine after another manufacturers spiralizer failed miserably after three days. This one I love. Very sturdy, easy to use and to clean. Have not used the large noodle blade but if it works as well as the small noodle blade I'll love that one too. I spiralized a turnip, a beet, and a sweet potato last night and the spiralizer worked flawlessly. Love eating veggies this way and I'm sure I'll get many years use from this well built product. Sunday night is spaghetti.

I am so happy with this purchase
The media could not be loaded. I am so happy with this purchase! I researched so many different spiralizers over a two month period before making my first purchase (not this item) which I promptly returned due to quality. I was disappointed since I was so excited to give this a go to enhance our family’s meals. I am extremely happy with my decision to do so since it lead me to this Lurch brand. The product feels and looks sturdy compared to the others I have seen. It has great suction cups that hold it sturdy in place and actually remove quite easily with the pull tabs. The blades are VERY sharp which made processing the veggies effortless. I think I will let my 5 year old spiralizer the veggies next time since she was very intrigued by it (supervised of course). Clean up was easy; I was only a bit nervous cleaning the blades since they are so sharp (which they should be!) I can't wait to make our next zoodle meal.I have already passed along the good review to family who were waiting for my opinion before purchasing this one or another.

A good buy
The product generally works well: the blades are sharp and the spiralizer is sturdy and fairly easy to clean (no crevices to trap food particles). My only complaint is that it doesn't spiralize ALL of the food, so you are left with these big chunks of zucchini, potatoes or whatever else you were chopping/cutting. What I do is freeze the leftover pieces and add them to soups, stews etc.

Great spiralizer
Having tried numerous spiraling mechanisms, I was very happy to find the Lurch spiralizer...it is top notch. I love the easy method for storing and changing the blades. They are very sharp and to protect myself and the blades from nicks I kept the tape covers to reapply after washing. It can be a little unstable to get started at times but much better than other slicers. It makes great potato spirals or slices as well as decorative creations with other vegetables. Previously owned mechanisms require soft vegetables to produce the best result, but with the Lurch all come out great.

Nice unit, but variable results with vegetable type and spaghetti blade size
After trying a hand-held spiralizer, I decided that I needed a higher quality unit, since I love the concept of spiralizing. After looking at many reviews, I chose this one primarily because of the report that the blades are very sharp, which i think is absolutely necessary for efficiency.Based on the pictures, the unit also looked extremely sturdy, rather than being made out of cheap plastic. On first glace, this unit is made out of relatively strong plastic and is light, but sturdy. However, I wish the handle was made out of better parts, and perhaps the ability to disassemble for washing purposes.I first tried the large spaghetti blade with a sweet potato. My luck was not great. Although the blades cut the sweet potato relatively well, some of the spike parts were not cutting all the way through the sweet potato. This resulted in circular cuts that had perforations where it should have completely cut. I am guessing that the blade is too far out versus where the spikes come out.So I finished off the sweet potato on the smaller spaghetti blade. This worked very well! It was quick to cut the remaining sweet potato, with very little issues. Of note, I did not need to use the suction cups at the bottom of the unit - I only needed to hold the unit to keep it steady at the top of the blade area, and then used the handle and pushed and turned to spiralize the sweet potato.Afterwards, I went on to spiralize a taro root. First I peeled off the outside, and then I started with the spiralizer. Unfortunately due to the taro root's consistency (slightly wet and/or not as firm) the hand spikes did not hold it in place. Instead, the handle spikes ground into the taro root, preventing the spiralizer from cutting. I tried to dry off the end, but I still could not get it to work. Instead, I held the taro root with a paper towel by hand to spiralize. This actually worked pretty well, and in no time I had spaghetti strands of the taro root. Due to using it by hand, I had more "leftover" that I could not spiralize. But it was still better than the leftover I got from the hand-held unit.I then attempted to spiralize broccoli stems. Unfortunately these were too soft to work. They were not effectively held in place, nor did they spiralize. This may be due to the broccoli being a little older, rather than fresh/ new. I may attempt broccoli stems again with fresher broccoli in the future.Overall I think this is a nice spiralizer, but I cannot compare to other table-top version on the market (since I have not tried those). I am disappointed at the large spaghetti blade. Of note, despite the German writing on the box, like other units, this one is also made in China. Perhaps there was a manufacturing issue with that one blade. But the smaller spaghetti blade works well, and I am sure the turnado blade will also cut well. The price on this unit is slightly higher than some other units you can find on Amazon. While some units are more expensive, many are less expensive. Once again, I do not know how the quality of this one compares to the others, since I have not tried the other units. But I am wishing I had more spaghetti blade choices like some of the other units.

Great product.
Awesome product. Not quite as heavy construction as I had imagined but it does the job just fine. Blades are super sharp. I've made potato chips, zucchini spaghetti and apple slices so far. Seems to do everything it claims and cleans easily. I would recommend this specific machine over others I've seen reviewed on YouTube.

Keep looking, nothing to see here
Don't get confused by all the paid reviews, I am returning as it does not do a great of a job, try a pepper, cabbage or onion, not possible, for $50 I expected magic and amazing build quality. With so many poor reviews on all the spiralizers on Amazon I expect this would be the ticket, sadly it is pretty cheap plastic and the handle I don't think would last long, I really wanted to like but I am showing it the doorUpdate, got this instead New Chiba Turning Slicer For just a few $$$ more this is a real nice item, the auto feed is something every slicer dreams it had, you will really like how easy to slice (no suction cups are needed and its that good at not moving around) the veggies come out even, buy the correct item the 1st time and skip the Lurch

You pay for quality
This is awesome! I tried the Paderno brand and it was garbage because it was a struggle to get through any root vegetable. This thing is made of strong plastic, is sturdy and the blades are so sharp that it cuts through any root vegetable with ease. I know it's expensive, but it's worth the money if you like quality and would use it enough to justify the purchase.
