ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW IS HERE!!!!
These are my fave dresses since I stumbled upon them. I get a new set each season and don't expect them to last longer than that with everyday use, but if they do, bonus! I'm 6 FEET TALL! (Short torso, long legs) So everyone questioning length, check the pics out. I am a 2X/3X and have found that some of the 2X's are as big as other style 3X's and vice versa. So I always buy the 3X if they have it and if not, get the 2X and it's usually still fine. Also, for see-through questions, I stood in front of a glaring bright window. My ratings for this one: Length - Too short for my liking, See-through - Probably needs something underneath (Bathing suit or slip). Overall - BLUE AS THE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN!!!! **BUT** if the slip shorts mentioned below don't work, this one will have to go back, which breaks my heart because this color is amazing. Check out my pics under all the different styles of dresses. This one's a little too short, so I've ordered the cute slip shorts, also pictured. They're coming this weekend so hopefully I can wear those under this one so I can keep it too!!! ALSO - WASHING! I always wash these dresses separate the first time in case there is any color bleeding. After that, I wash these dresses together in a lingerie bag on the most delicate wash cycle and hang to dry. That is how I've always washed them and never a problem. SEQUIN ALERT!!! I've noticed people mentioning the sequins fall off. Yes, sometimes a sequin doesn't make it after a wash or a long day at the beach. What I've found is if ya catch it (or any thread) that comes loose, I put a dab of fabric glue (gem/rhinestone glue) on the inside on the part that's coming on done and once dried, it's good to go. One of the full-length Kaftans from this brand came undone on the side (after over a year of lots of use) and it was about 36" unsewn. I put the fabric glue along the edge and clamped it together with paper clamps and it's as good as new. FABRIC GLUE - GET IT, USE IT, LOVE IT!

A flowy tent
This was an interesting sundress. I do normally wear a 1X, but from reading the reviews I first tried the 2X. I got two of them in two colors. When I got them, the arm holes were VERY big, they went almost down to my waist. The odd thing was, the neckline and straps fit very well, but the armholes under the arm went down so far. Also, I could not believe how much material was in the skirt itself, it seemed like you could have used half the material and still had plenty of space. It was way too much material. As far as workmanship, the other reviewers were correct that the sequins were sewn on just by one thread and probably would not stay on, but it's only a $20 dress, what do you expect? But I liked the dress itself so I thought I'd return the 2X and try a 1X. Got the 1X, and the arm holes were better, still rather big so I'd have to wear something underneath it, but better, but the amount of material in the skirt was still way too much, seemed like just as much as with the 2X, so I decided to return them, it was too much like wearing a flowy tent. And the second dresses I got, one did have some threads pulling out of the embroidery. Here is another interesting thing, I am 5' tall and the skirt on it was actually about the same length if not a tiny bit shorter than as shown on the model! Ok, 5' is REALLY short, so are you telling me the model they are showing is that short???? How many models do you know who are that short? So ladies, if you are tall, don't expect the skirt to be as long as on the model in the picture! And I had gotten 4 of these sundresses (2 of each size) and they were all the same so it wasn't a fluke. So all in all, if it didn't have so much material in the skirt and the arm holes didn't hang down so low, I really would have liked this dress.

GREAT summer dress: Swingy, flowy, comfy and pretty!
Oh I love this dress! I bought a 3X, fully prepared to send it back if it didn't fit properly -or- (and more likely) if it turned out to be too thin and, so, showed every single little bump and dimple and curve I have. Not so! It flows and swirls and covers my bod without highlighting every single dip and tuck I possess. I'll need to be vigilant to avoid a Marilyn Monroe moment if a wind comes up suddenly but it's GREAT for dancing and shopping and hanging out. Just to be really clear about those bumps: I'm 5'2" and 225 pounds. If I can wear this - and love it! - then it'll probably be really flattering on you, too.One thing. I was definitely NOT feeling the sequins so removed them. It was very easy to do since the "sewing" is (mostly) long lengths of thread with sequins applied every so often. There were kots in the thread, too, but they seemed to appear in a somewhat haphazard fashion; it wasn't just one long piece of thread. Still, the sequins are quite easy to remove if you don't want to glint in the sun as you stroll down the sidewalk or around the pool.

Beautiful tent
Here's to all those ladies wondering what size to order this thing in, it fit me like a tent. I wear a 2X and I ordered a 2X this thing fits like a 4X. Seriously people! This thing fits me like a tent a family of five could live in here. So I'm just going to use it for a bathing suit cover-up and hope I don't get blew away at the beach. Just saying it big, with little to no shape to it so if you were hoping this thing might give you a little shape might want to pass on it.

Runs large!
Be aware that this dress runs really larger compared to the size chart. I usually get a medium or large in sundresses because I don't like them to be tight across the chest. According to the size chart, I should be a medium. I ordered a medium in another version (same brand), and it was really big on me. I kept it because I could use it for a cover up, but not for a dress, which is what I wanted. So I ordered this one in a small. It fits better than the medium, but still too large. I do love the color. I haven't washed it, so I don't know how it will hold up, but for the price, I wasn't expecting it to be great quality. I was looking for a sundress with a swingy skirt to take on vacation. Preferably one that the top lets one wear a normal bra without it showing. It's hard to find sundresses with wide enough shoulder straps. This dress checks those boxes nicely. So the 3 stars are for how big it runs.

Poorly made
I bought the purple dress and had to remove the tacky sequins which didn't take long as they were sewn on with one thread but tedious. The dress looked two-tone online but was solid purple. Threads were hanging everywhere. It looks nice now and the fit was true to size. I wear a size 14 Canadian and purchased a large. It is nice and cool in the summer.

Poor quality. Loose threads hanging from dress. Little holes in the dress where the detailing should have been. Returning item. Dress was also large and did not hang right.
