It truly color-changes. I was actually able to replicate the front of the container, too. REGARDLESS of what others say, it is not sticky, and will not dry out. I do advise trying to keep it clean, though, so that the color change stays pristine. It is very stretchy, and doesn't break too easily. It doesn't crumble. However, the color change is sort of slow. It takes a minute or two. It goes from coral-pink/red to bubblegum pink. The bad reviews lie! Also, DON'T GET WATER ON IT. I REPEAT, DO NOT GET WATER ON IT. NO WATER ON IT. NOWATERNOWATERNOWATER NO WATER. I HOPE I HAVE IMPLANTED A PICTURE INTO YOUR MIND TO PUT IN NO WATER. After a few days though, the color did start to tint and get darker- though I am pretty sure that it was just my dirty hands. It stays stretchy, though! It did not start to harden or dry as I played with it. The hyper-color feature also didn't start to go away. After 3 weeks of playing with the putty, it still changed colors very nicely. People say that it is "so sticky, didn't come out of clothes. melted onto all my things". People? THAT. IS. THEIR. FAULT. DO NOT deliberately leave your putty in a chair or on an armrest. Ways to prevent doing do includes having the container with you to put away, trying not to put the putty down, or just plain out not taking it into a chair or table. More on this later. Changes color and helps with my anixety thank you!
The media could not be loaded. So i have really bad anixety and bought this puddy to play with to help with my anxiety and keep my hands busy. Listen to all the people leaving bad reviews for the color. This thing does change color. I didnt even care if it did change color or not because i was just trying to find something to help my anxiety. I like and it works. And bonus it changes color lol. The piece on the left of the picture i had been playing with for a while and the piece next to it is a new piece i took out.

It is super cool. Does not dry out.
As long as kids do not add water to it it will never be messy if for any reason they do...get rid of it immediately otherwise it will be a disaster all over the floors and clothes. My kids are addicted to it and play with it for hours. Mess free and lots of fun. Even I love to play with it. Really cool product. Tip. Put it back to the tin after using it. Have fun...

Exactly as advertised
Can't go wrong with this, it's Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty. The color change isn't too noticeable unless you get the putty very warm (lots of quick stretching for nonstop friction), but that's how color change putty works. Great putty, great price, if you're reading this just buy it.

A Beautiful color and No Regrets!
So.. I’m 54 years old and addicted to Aaron’s Thinking Putty. I’m picky about which ones I want in my collection. I was searching for a new one and found Flamingo Feathers. I got all giddy and ordered it. It arrived on time and well packaged. All Aaron’s putty is a little finicky getting out of tin container. It’s not dried out... it’s just settled and is waiting for you to get it out and play with it. Aaron’s putty is the best because it doesn’t stick to your skin and disintegrate like the cheap knockoffs. Flamingo feathers is the perfect shade of flamingo pink with an ever so slightly shimmer of ultra glitter sparkle. Not disappointed whatsoever and will be purchasing more for my snap, crackle, and pop collection.

Keeps my hands busy
I found I was getting very fidgety in meetings at home, so I bought this to keep my hands busy and away from touching my face/hair. Works like a charm and love the color
