This thing is awesome!! I've been using it right at a year, and it has saved my wife the frustration of shaving my back and given me the perfect tool in order to never ask her again. Cake to use, works great, cuts great....Five Stars plus another Five would have been my rating...--EXCEPT--The battery after a year no longer holds a charge. It slows down and barely works now after a few minutes. Thefact I'm still giving it Three Stars is a testament to how awesome I think this thing is, so I'm hoping I got a lemon, and I'm hoping a call to the factory will help me resolve.***Update-7-22-2020.I've changed my review to its much deserved Five Stars. I contacted their customer service who got back with me very quickly and are sending me a new trimmer. All I had to do was take a picture of the old one and show proof of purchase. They even let me keep my old trimmer in case I needed the head attachments. Fast, easy, and a good way to treat your clients. Much appreciated!

Had the version before this and found it to be very decent at shaving my back. This one, I thought it was me doing something wrong but no! It pulls and rips my hair out. I have made sure its charged, cleaned the head and changed the shaving intensity. Nothing has made it better. I have been left with a spotted, red and abrasion filled back. DO NOT BUYUpdate: Mangroomer reached out to me with suggestions on how to address the issues I had. I emailed them back saying I had tried ALL of them and that they did not work. Here was their BS response at the end of this update. I responded back that my satisfaction is clearly not their "top priority". Have not received a response since... The first email said this as well "We’d like to address any issues or concerns you have. Your satisfaction is important so please contact us by replying to this email and we’ll work to resolve your issues." ISSUES NOT RESOLVED!!! Please take your time to learn your new back shaver and clean your shaver after each stroke the first time you shave to prevent clogging. After the initial use or when hairs are shorter and you use your MANGROOMER on a normal basis, you will be able to go much quicker and achieve a perfectly smooth back in minutes! 👍 As an added bonus, when your hairs are shorter you can switch to your Foil Attachment Head to achieve a perfectly smooth shave and maintain a hair free back with ease all the time. 👏👏👏 In addition, we recommend using the POWER BURST mode for higher speeds, due that the normal operating speed is set at sensitive for private areas and sensitive skin. If you are experiencing any pulling or pinching, it is possible your blade was jarred loose during shipping and the undercarriage of the blade unit is not in complete contact with the inner power pin that powers the blades. Please note this can easily be corrected by simply removing the blade and then reinstalling so that the underlying power pin is correctly positioned in the undercarriage of the blade unit for shaving. Please simply remove the attachment head from the main body and turn ON to ensure your groomer is powering up. This is my 3rd model from Mangroomer. 1st model was the one when I had to replace batteries. It broke a long time ago when it fell off the sink on the hard floor. Then 2nd model was the one with rechargeable batteries. After a few years, the head attachment stopped working and I hadn't shaved my caveman back hair for about 5 months by the time I got this 3rd product yesterday. The new wider head is SO MUCH BETTER! It reduce the time and the powerful motor makes it a smoother shave without any of pinching or hair-pulling pains. *I couldn’t shave the top part of my back until the spots heals from a recent laser treatement.For people with caveman and ape body hairs, this is the BEST product to last longer and no blades replacement needed. However, I learned that the head attachment need to be replace time to time, but in the long run, it's money-saving.

It could be that my hair is too course but this shave still doesn't do a clean shave. Love the reach it has and the wide blade to cover more area. It doesn't pull or snag much but will leave some redness on sensitive skin for about a day. I like this better than anything I've tried before but it still isn't going to be smooth like a razor will.

Having a medium furry back, I wanted to give this a try. Was VERY pleased with it! Works great, easy to use . Long battery life , even after a thorough session.With so so trimmers etc on the market to beard/ear/nose/eyebrow trimming on the market , I hesitated thinking this product was along those lines,,. NOT SO!. Well thought out design and a game changer . Having never used anything along these lines before and not sure what else is on the market as competition , I’m more than happy with this product and glad I went with this one first.Highly recommended, get this and you won’t be sorry

Like others have said, this is a poorly made, low quality product. Unfortunately, this category of products is rife with low quality items. Because I can get this product to actually work, I gave it 3 stars, which is more than I can say for the other back shaving products I've tried. Yes, it is under powered. If you use it like a normal shaver, it will bind, get stuck and painfully rip the hair out. The key is going super slow. If you move it super slowly, it actually works well and without too much pain. This product requires lots of patience, but in the end, seems to get the job done.

I bought this to replace the type of shaver that holds an actual razor. My old method took forever and I usually missed spots. With my new Mangroomer I was able to shave my entire back in about 10 minutes. I don't have super thick hair on my back so I don't know how well it'll mow through for someone who does but it does have a power boost option which would probably help. I love the extending handle and that I can put it multiple positions. It charged very fast out of the box. Maybe an hour or two. I'm sure as long as I keep it clean and oil the blades occasionally it'll last a while. It's a great purchase for me.

Don't buy it guys ... I am searching how to return it back...it Doesn't work at all

Unpacking the product is hard and takes a lot of time.I used it once and it is very painfull for your back. The big blade dose not do anything, the small one made by back bleed.My recomandation is not to buy this thing.

Given some of the other reviews, I considered this purchase over several weeks. When the product arrived, I found the wide blade worked particularly well to remove the longer growth and I didn't have any issue with the extendable arm. The shaver blade will take a bit longer to get used to but the next shave should be easier.Comments about the battery will need to wait a few months but so far, so good. I'm very happy with the purchase.
