American Sound Connection Compatible with Ford F250 or F350 Super Crew Cab Truck 2001-2014 Dual 10" Subwoofer Sub Box Speaker Enclosure

for the money, i expected a cheap box: built great, fits tight... inread ither reviews to know exactly what to do, i trimmed the carpet on the back where it starts to fold down (12” from the floor) and i simply un-bolted the window motor... the box fit my slim subs perfect and the box fell right in... i bolted the motor back in and once you pick the back seat up, it holds the box nice and tight inthere...!!! all in all took about ann hour, hour and a half tops... great sound and you don’t even know the box is back there...

Went to a local audio shop to see how much it would be to get a box to fit behind me seats in my Crew cab 2011 Ford F-250 super duty and they told me a couple hundred bucks just for the box not including subs and amp, found this it fits perfect just have to take the seats out and a little foam and it’s in. Sounds great with 2 12” kicker compRT’s easy to install sounds nice crisp and clean

Other than having to trim the vents on the back of the cab it sounds good with 2 skate vd10 subs on skate rp1200 watt amp in my 06 f250

Box is built well, just a few pointers to prevent over consumption of alcohol due to frustration... I have a 2004 f250 with a bench seat and that metal rack thing under the seats. So I mounted the box as directed behind the seats but had to mount the amp under my seat. I only gave 4 stars cuz the wire contacts where you plug in your speaker wires is complete garbage AND inconvenient to me they line up dead on with the rear bulk head vents so when you drop in or I should say squeeze the extremely tight fitting box in, those dang vents pull the wires right out of the contacts! Very annoying and tough to deal with! I ended up pulling the box out again and breaking the clips off with pliers, exposing the metal contacts so I could solder the wires in! This way I know they are connected and I'll never have to worry about a bumpy road disconnecting my subs. Take the time and solder your connections, don't rely on those clips. Besides that, it was a very good fit for me, I removed the carpet as instructed and also had to remove the car seat clips along the top to get the box in. Good use of space and good sound. I have 10" subs and they fit just fine with room to spare. The holes measure 9" to fit a 10" sub, that's how it SHOULD be.

Let me help clear up some of these bad reviews. My box is for an 08 to 10 F250/F350 with power window. First, one complaint I keep seeing is that you all had to cut the box for your speakers to fit. Yes, for sure you do. Every speaker basket is different in size, so obviously the manufacturer made the least common denominator for the hole opening. It takes 30 minutes and your hole sizes can be made to fit whatever subs you purchased. Second, to get the box to fit, you just remove the rear carpet and cut it, along with the rear seat belt cover, all no big deal. Finally, you just remove the the bolts that hold the power back glass motor and slide the box in. This is an amazing purchase considering an audio shop would charge 400% more.

Dont know how it sounds yet giving it 3 star bc of fast shipping. But got it today and like everyone else states 12s dont fit was expecting no big deal my audio guy is going to trip it out. But the box it came is was all beat up and the wood inside the sub hole is cracked and a big pice split off just carpet holding it. I sprayed some 3m glue in it and say some weight on it for awhile. Would of bought a better box if I could of found one that holds 2 12s I'll make due with this one it's my first carpet box have always spent the money on sprayed but as stated couldn't find one.Update* box sounds good in my 07 f250 I pioneer 1500 watt flats and 3k amp. Audio guy cut the box to fit the subs cheaply mad box but it works.

Fit perfect in my 11 F350. Some obvious carpet and panel trimming of the center seatbelt cover is necessary but that is to be expected. Running two Punch P3 shallows off a 1000 watt Digital Designs amp and it hits hard and clean. Well built and nicely finished.

I had to cut out my air pressure baffles to make this box fit. Being this is a heavy item don’t be surprised when you notice some shipping damage.
