Heady Fragrance
I discovered Magnolia Champaca when someone at work used a drop and it filled the whole office. You might want to check with co-workers before doing that. The smell is flowery and heady. I find it delightful. This seems to be a potent good quality oil. The label was instantly unreadable once a drop got on it while changing out the stopper. I didn't buy it for the label. I add a drop to the bedding and it fills the bedroom for several days. I am loving this oil.

Nowhere close to real Champaca. Could be a health risk for people with allergy.
Let me start by saying that I have over 100 different exotic essential oil/absolutes library. I am 100% sure that it's not pure champaca oil. There is a hint of offputting synthetic chemical smell, but I would give the benefit of the doubt. Even if it is a natural oil, it's no more than a 1-3% champaca absolute diluted in a carrier oil/solvent. I do have champaca absolute bought from now-defunct Sleeping Dragon Co. Pure Champaca oil (champaca and jasmine are usually solvent-extracted absolutes rather than distilled) is bright orange-red in color, and the fragrance is invigorating and much more complex compared to pure jasmine. This product hardly has any fragrance. Pure champaca absolute would cost anywhere between 12-15 dollars per mL. Twelve dollars for 5 mL, including international shipping from India, was a red flag. However, I took a chance and learned my lesson. Stay away from this adulterated stuff.

Intoxicating
Wow. This Champaca is impeccable. I'm afraid to buy another bottle because something this lovely couldn't remain consistent.... could it? It's an absolute dream. Heady, complex, good longevity and projection. Plus, the packaging and timing was wonderful, and came with a catalog insert. Very pleased. 7 starts.

Smells great.
Smells amazing such a rich floral scent. Only complaint is that the bottle didn’t come with a dropper top but luckily I had an extra so it’s very minor just bringing this up so people know when they order. Came faster than expected too.
