20x20-Inch Studio In a Box, complete light Tent/Cube Kit with Four Backdrops + Two Lights + 1 Camera Stand

I bought this and got exactly what I needed. It was a little bigger than I had envisioned in my head but it works perfectly for my purposes. I need to use it more of course but everything is great on this thus far.

This tabletop studio looked like a great way to get studio quality shooting of small objects. Set up is quick, but cumbersome, so when shooting it is difficult to get any perspective on your subject but straight in. The camera stand is hard to use and keeps your camera from being able to get as close as you like. If you want to shoot marco, it is useless. The lights do not do anything to illuminate your subject if set up on the outside of the box as shown in the photo. So, getting that nice soft lighting you want doesn't happen. They are small enough though to set up inside the box. The best feature is that everything folds up into the cover/case and stores easily.

Price is right and helpful for Ebay or Craig's List photos of smaller items. More light and a more stable tripod would be helpful.

The lights are not the brightest, it's true, but they are small and not too bad on the heat output. Any bigger and they wouldn't be portable. I use slow shutter speeds, so the brightness is a non issue. Make sure you have, at least, a self timer for your camera when using this, shutter priority or manual control on top of that is even better. The included stand is only for small cameras and one perspective, straight on. This is fine for simple shots, but I use a tripod so I can shoot higher, lower, different angles, etc. A tripod also allows the use of an SLR and heavier lenses, however that takes away the whole portable idea, so keep that in mind. I've been using this for a couple of months, no complaints at all. It is simple, but the limitations are obvious. If you need more, spend more, but the portability and adaptability make this a winner. Shipped quickly, in perfect shape.

This little box helped to make our pictures look AMAZING! Arrived fast and had everything as stated and easy to pack and go. Had to add an additional light on top, but overall - it was well worth the money! We used it to take pictures for a cookbook, but it could easily be used for selling items (ebay, etsy, etc) or for excellent macro pictures.
