Southern Lawns: A Step-by-Step Guide to the Perfect Lawn

I was in the wholesale and retail turf business for years. I’ve even managed a Turf farm and this is one of the best basic information books you can read and use for your lawn if you live GA, AL, NC, SC and Northern FL.Great month to month guides and deals with lawns not golf courses. Believe me 2 totally different beast but people want to do to their yard what they see done on a golf course and thats not the best for your lawn.

good book but it is rather exhaustive in its coverage of all lawn types and since I have one lawn that is exclusively Bermuda, most of the book is worthless. However, followed their suggestions and my lawn looks amazing this year.

This book clearly details how to maintain, repair, and even plant various types of southern grass types. I liked the maintenance calendar and how it explains why each task is done on each particular month as well as optional tasks or variations on a task. With what I've learned, I'm looking forward to a much improved lawn next season.

This is perhaps the best lawn/gardening book I have ever read for the purpose for which it was intended. It is easy to read, very detailed, well organized and provides an excellent "user manual". I had previously check out 5 different lawn care books from the library and this one was clearly the best. I purchased this book to add to my gardening bookshelf.

a good book,good price and a confident seller.really helpfull book.in my case i live in Puerto Rico,and tried bermuda is economical,but first kill the ant's they like your seed's....

I didn't find the book to provide the detailed information I was looking for. The book seemed to be old and possibly in storage for sometime.
