30Amp Anderson Connectors, PP15 to 45, Blue, w/12-16 AWG Heavy Duty Contact 30A, 600V (Pack of 7)

These appear to be genuine Anderson power pole connectors. Great when you need a connector other than Red/Black. I made a 4-wire connector for connecting my mobile ham rig to the car: Black=Ground, Red=Battery, Blue=Accessory Switched, Gray=PTT footswitch.

If you want problem free connections, I would avoid the lower cost "Anderson Powerpole compatible" connectors and instead, use the ones from Powerwerks.. I have had problems with the knock off brands fitting together properly.. I have yet to run into this problem with the Powerwerks brands.. They work perfectly every time, as long as there isn't a loose nut behind the crimper :-)..I live on a boat, and boats run on batteries.. So rather than using an A/C adapters to charge cell phones or other A/C adapter powered devices, I use Powerpole connectors in places when a water tight connection aren't required.. This way I skip the inefficiency of converting the boat's battery voltage (+12vDC) to 110vAC through an inverter, only to be converted back down to some DC voltage..Most electronic devices use +5vDC or +12vDC.. Others such as older laptops or monitors use other voltages.. The multi-colored housings allow me to quickly determine which voltage a particular outlet is set for.. The included picture is of the custom outlet at my boat's Navigation Station where 5vDC (red/black) and 14vDC (white/black) are available.. flk k
