Works well on windows, as long as no scrubbing is necessary. Will not clean hardened material which needs direct contact with a sponge or a rag. Don't expect this to be a substitute for power washing. It did not perform that job on my vinyl siding. Watch usage when the water is first turned on. It drained the bottle to the half-way point in just seconds.

This morning I used the exterior cleaner referenced above on an exterior wall, approximately 20'-0" wide X 8'-0" in height. Two 8'-0" wide garage doors are installed in this wall. The gutters and garage doors were replaced two years ago when the house was repainted, so the surfaces were fairly new. I followed the exact instructions on the bottle and applied the cleaner. Results: The exterior cleaner did a very very poor job. So then I re-cleaned the wall using a mitten, a bucket of warm water and a mild dish soap, and everything cleaned up very well. Furthermore, I used approximately 3/4's of the container to clean about 400 sf of surface. It states on the crystal cleaning package it will clean up to 2,000 SF. Believe me, you will be very lucky if you can clean 600 to 800 SF with one package. I feel that I got ripped off!

It does a fair job on second story windows, but it didn't clean all the mineral deposits off my windows.

I'm already a fan of Fuller Brush products because my late brother-in-law was a FB salesman all of his life so I've used many different products he recommended. One job I hate to do is wash windows--and as I've gotten older it has become actually dangerous for me to haul a ladder out and try to get a firm foothold in my flowerbeds. This set is really easy to use--just dump the magic crystals into the jar and hook it up to the hose. No climbing ladders, no wiping down, and no streaks! One thing I've learned is that after I'm done with the windows, I use up the rest of the bottle hosing down the front and back porches. I have the cleanest house in the neighborhood with perhaps the least amount of effort.

We live in the country, where the wind drives dirt and debris into every little groove and recess in the vinyl siding. We also have bug spots, webs, some mold, stains from foundation plants, etc. This product was almost completely ineffective. I followed the directions exactly, and still needed a scrub brush to remove dirt, spots, and debris. The soapy mixture is extremely concentrated at the start of the process, and gradually fades to almost no soapy mix. It's hard to discern at exactly what point the soaping ends and rinsing begins. Directions say to place finger over side hole to begin rinse, but that wasn't especially effective, either. The sprayer itself isn't powerful enough to provide any "jet" or low level "power wash" effect. If you live in a metro area or already wash your siding a couple times per year and just need to rinse off a little dust, etc., this could work well. It didn't clean off any significant dirt/grime/stains for us. It did seem to be safe for our plants and shrubs.
