Sentry484245 Sentry Calming Diffuser for Refill for Cats, 1.5-Ounce

I have a still partially wild male cat that we rescued as a baby. We found him dying and afraid. In his rehabilitation we discovered some of his early trauma has stayed with him. In conjunction with a relax spray that I also buy, this product seems to help him be more himself and slink around in fear less. As long as the refill is working (sometimes it doesn't diffuse properly) and fresh (you have to replace it once it is half full), he is sweet and happy and running around being the happy and loveable kitty he was meant to be. :) It also has calmed the ruckus he causes with the other two females. Lol. We only have it in the living room and it works great.

The refill got to me fast and earlier than expected. It was great. My cat really needed something like this, especially moving from a big house to small apartment. It took about a little over a week for it to take effect but it was well worth it!! I can't even smell anything so I wasn't sure it was working until I noticed my cat would lay within five feet of it and sleep by it as well. I bought one for each end of my place so he feels nice and calm in all parts of the house. (And it was so much cheaper than buying it from a pet store)

Bought this as a trial. Really wasn't sure it would work. I'm happy to report that I have seen a change in my cat Lucky. It has calmed him a bit. But more importantly to me, he has adjusted better to noises and doors closing. He was very jumpy in the beginning. (We live in an apartment with someone up above.) He now will lay on a bed in the room where the door is. If he's not hiding under the couch, he's a happy cat! Thank you!

I gave my boyfriend some of the sentry calming collars, but Oreo (his cat) wasn't used to collars, and while the collars were super effective, the collar portion wasn't super effective. To solve this problem, I picked up the plug in diffuser - and he loves it! His cats are calmer (the one less aggressive and the other less skittish) and he doesn't have to worry about the collar problems.He hasn't experienced any issues with the refills not going properly.

Works for the first couple days, and it seems to wear off. I think my cat has nervousness and anxiety issues, when other people coming to the house. I even got the cat fixed.

This brand just does not seem to have any effect on my cats . I have 3 of these plugged in around the house , 1st I can not smell the lavender smell at all second I have had them plugged in for over a month and the liquid is still full I do not know if they are not working since the diffuser tops are hot like they are supposed to get . Most importantly my poor cats are still a bunch of maniacs (we brought in an adult rescue cat) and they are not getting along at all nor do they seem the least bit more calm . It looks like I will have to resort to some kitty Prozac to keep the fur from flying .

Our 5 year old cat started having issues after we had to put our old Siamese to sleep. She would hiss all the time, hide in the back room and wasn't sociable at all. Once we got this diffuser and these refills, she has changed into a completely different cat. She doesn't hide anymore, rarely ever hisses, and is affectionate and loving like she used to be when she was a kitten.The label on these says they need to be replaced every month but we have used a refill for 2 months and it still seems to have the same effect. I guess it depends on the user.

I've ordered this product before & it pleasantly surprised me with how much it really worked to calm my cats down & decrease their fighting. Unfortunately this time it didn't work. At all. Then I realized that the liquid inside the refill that's supposed to become less as time goes by did not move at all. There's some kind of malfunction with my refill & I didn't realize it until after 30 days passed unfortunately. That's an expensive mistake to have. Now I have 2 cats squaring off until I can afford to buy more next payday. Just to be safe, I may buy from somewhere else.
