This timer doesn't have a timer with it but it says it comes with the asf digitital timer. which is it?

This particular spin feeder control unit comes with the ASF Digital Timer.

How wide is it from outside to outside of the mounting brackets?

Not sure but it's a little wider than a six volt so if your replacing one you will have to drill new hole but it's worth it

Does the box have the port on the side to run a solar panel with the flexible conduit through it?

Yes. Use metal flex the squirrels keep eating my wires. Ugh.
