The quality isn't the best, but you wouldn't look at these if you ...
I am very impressed with this set. The hair light alone is worth the purchase. Before this I wish trying to utilize track lights to give me some light, but this is such a clean, even, and bright light that it made my video interviews really pop, especially when I use a white background. I have traveled to a couple locations and set it up with the help of my wife and if you have ever set up studios, school pics, etc you will be right at home with these. The quality isn't the best, but you wouldn't look at these if you want the best. What set this set apart for me is the ability to individually control the lights within the soft boxes. You can get really creative with your lighting. Money well spent! I started out with one the many generic studio kits on amazon that came with a backdrop stand, three muslins (worthless) and two umbrella lights. The lights just were not bright enough and these are WAYYYYY brighter. I just moved the umbrella lights so they are now dedicated to lighting the backdrop. (White needs a lot of light so it doesn't look gray)

Nice lights
I am just starting to get into Studio lighting, so take this a total novice review. I currently shoot with a Canon 6d mk ii and 50 mm lens. I honestly think this is a great little starter kit. My images do come out a bit cool initially, but have been able to adjust with a gray card to achieve a look I like in post production. I haven't yet put all three lights to use as I'm focused on one light at the moment, but for the price it's definitely with the purchase. CONS: If you are someone looking to move the lights for a a mobile studio, I would suggest you should consider strobes or flashes instead. There are 5 bulbs on each of the bigger lights and no protection to keep them safe for travel. If you have something that can keep and protect that many bulbs then go for it. I would say it takes me 5 minutes or less to set up each light. So not too bad, but not optimal if I was having to set up and break down. I have to take into consideration my backdrop stand too.PROs: My favorite part of the lights are the switches to turn off certain bulbs. That is super handy, when I want to adjust the brightness. You can turn off a specific bulb, which is nice if you are getting too much brightness on a specific part of your image. The softbox produces great catchlights on your subject. For a one light setup, it offers a great feathering off the highlights.Okay, so again, I'm a total novice on the studio photography thing, but I really like this lighting to get started.

Great Light.. Poor quality stands and softboxes
The lights are amazingly bright.. So In love with that.. Works great!!The stands are cheap some parts made of plastic and a piece was even broken when i recieved it.. the softboxes are a pain the butt.. with poles to stick into the boxes and the light its really goofy was hoping for a foldable pop up version.. I rated a 3 because the lights are really amazing and if your planning on just putting up in your house and leaving it along its great.. if you plan to travel with it.. yah your going to get some frustration.. because its going to start to break down after awhile the stands ect..

Great price and is perfect for people who run YouTube channels or who like to Vlog.
I am completely happy with this light kit. For now, this will be an abbreviated review which I will update and expound upon later. I read that other people had trouble setting this kit up, but since I have some experience with light kits, I found this very user-friendly and easy to put together. The light boxes require you to put the metal pieces in place so that they will hold their shape, but the light box that goes over the hair light already comes assembled. I am happy because I was able to use these three lights to not only light up my green screen completely, I was also able to create the exact lighting for my face as well. I have owed very expensive light kits before (retailing at about 4,000-5,000 dollars), and although this one isn't as powerful, it is perfect for someone who wants to make individual videos in their own room or small studio. I love that these produce a lot less heat, if any heat at all. My old light kit would make me sweat, which doesn't look very good when you're on film. The two main lights are a brighter, more natural light--so it looks like you're outside. The hair light has more of an orange look to it. Overall, I am happy with this kit. I think that it's a great deal for what you get.
