I've used Addi circulars for about 30 years now because they have the best cords & joins on the market, hands down. I've never had a problem with a join breaking or causing any yarn to catch as it travels from cord to needle, & the newer Rocket lace needles have wonderfully engineered pointy tips that make knitting even faster than the older Addi models, & the white chrome over brass is nicely slippy without dumping my stitches at every opportunity.If you knit tightly or do any sort of lace work those tips are a Godsend: angled enough to make it easy to get into the next stitch but not so pointy that they pierce your yarn - even cotton yarns are easier with Addi Rockets!I've not had slippage problems with the Rockets but Addi has a nice line of different circulars available. The brass-coated Addi Turbo Lace model is a bit stickier than the Rockets & have nicely pointed tips that are slightly less extreme so those are a fine option too. If you absolutely can't stand metal needles, Addi has made circulars of bamboo & of olive wood - I don't know if those are still in production and/or available everywhere but they might be worth searching out.Happy Knitting!

It was purchased to help knit a sweater for my daughter. Worked very well with some help of youtube videos on how to use them. I'm currently knitting another sweater for my daughter and am halfway through my second sleeve. So much easier.

Not cheap but well worth the price. These are absolutely my favorite circular needles. I donated all my old Susan Bates plastic round needles and my new Chigo needles because knitting should be fun and comfortable and Addi Rockets are a dream to work with.(I try to buy all my knitting supplies at my LYS but these can be hard to find. Not all yarn shops carry this brand. )

These are super slick so they are fantastic if you’re flying through stockinette stitch or ribbing. I don’t think they’d be as good for lace knitting with complicated stitches, it seems like the yarn would slip off the tips too easily.

These are great for fine yarn projects.
