Mixes well with acrylics, adds good thick texture, does not distort color, dries quickly compared to similar mediums

This Impasto doesn't level so it lets your knife or brush strokes stay as you apply them.

Nice to work with this product
When you scoop this material it stands up on the palette knife. Dries fast and holds it's shape.

Adds great texture BUT also adds sheen
This works great in terms of texture - I used it to paint tree bark - but it also adds a sheen to the dried paint. This might have been ok had I used it all over but since it was just used for a tree, it stood out. I ended up adding additional layers of acrylic paint on top to cover the issue.

Love this for adding depth
painted these 2 using this stuff. was kinda a pain to remove from plastic pallet after setting up. mixed about 50/50. didnt change colors as far as I can tell. dried a bit slower than acrylic. hardened overnight.

Glossy, colorless, texturized
Con: dries glossy even if you use matte paintPros: doesn't seem to affect color. I love the texture it gives and will be buying more soon.
