these are the boots your looking for!!!
This is my 3rd pair of this boot. Im a electrical and I'm on my feet all day. My custom orthotics fit perfect in these boots as well. I have a very wide feet and the wide size in this boot works great for me. I have to go thru a metal detector at work and these boots do not go off which is great. These are light weight boots compare to other boots I have bought in the past. The inside of the boots is pink as you can see in my pictures and the shoe laces are pink. These boots hold up very good!!! Im around concrete, grating, rocks, mud, water, and also kneeling and these boots hold up!!! I buy a new pair every 1.5 years and i work mon-fri 8 hrs-16 hrs. To me 1.5 yrs is a long time when i use them so much. They have lots of cushion around the ankles and i feel like I have great support for my ankles. The bottom of the boots have great traction I have noticed. They also keep my feet warm in the winter and I'm cool in the summer. I wear black name brand socks as u can see in the picture and they work well with these boots.

Good boot, bad service
I've had these boots for a while now. My work required us to purchase boots with a composite toe. When i got these boots they were, I'm assuming, a return. They didn't come in a box from Wolverine at all. It was one of the boxes from Amazon that say the box was too damaged to be sent.It wasn't until a few months later i realized these boots were suppose to come with a removable midsole. Which i did not get.A downside to these were i got them completely submerged in water one day (but my feet where dry). After i let then dry for 2 days i noticed the heal fits larger and i squeak whenever my heal hits the heal inner counter of the boot.At first, they fit a little tight on the arch but after wearing them for a while the leather has broken in.I clean them about every 2 months depending how dirty they get with some saddle soap and i use a leather balm to condition them after. They have almost no deep scuffs and using some shoe trees help with wicking moister after a long day's wear and they help keep their shape.

Stocking retail with safe toes
I had quite a few requirements to meet for my work uniform. Black, non-fabric, non-athletic, high traction sole, preferred toe protection, and preferably appears to be a "polishable black shoe" under my black slacks. I do a lot of kneeling, crouching, and moving heavy storage racks while working with retail stock. The toe needs to stand up to some brutal wear, and so far so good. The toe box pinches when I kneel down and the ankle support rubs me raw, but I suspect that I just need to wear thicker boot socks while I wear these and I should probably dedicate more time to breaking-in. The leather buckles strangely across the top as I walk (maybe the leather needs some conditioning) and the shoe is rather wide and "clown-like" and I felt awkward walking in them at first. The shoe is not too wide on the inside, but rather wide across the sole and I had a few moments where my left foot was hitting both my brake pedal and my clutch pedal in my car, but this is a work shoe so I am completely ignoring my "cosmetic" grievances for this review. So far, this shoe is EXACTLY what I needed. Ankle support is superb, arch support is non-existent in the insole so if you're like me you will need to put in your own insert (there is plenty of room). I am between 8.5 and 9, and this time I ordered the smaller size; my toe comes really close to touching the front but the shoe fits. It does feel a bit roomy in the width but with thick socks this problem is naught. If I had ordered a 9 I'm sure that the shoe would have been too wide.

Really great boot in looks and comfort - Not waterproof
I like an awful lot about this boot and wanted to keep them but they're not waterproof.Great: They had great arch support and comfy soles all around. They have a composite toe instead of metal so I don't have to worry about water/electricity! One of the main reasons I tried them this year instead of Timberline The boot have a great design look too.Just ok: the ankles are high and uncomfortable for about a week till they broke in. Size they run a little big and I would have returned for a regular instead of wide if I didn't need new boots immediately because my old boots had come apart. Apparently the Wolverine wide is bigger than Timberlines wide which I've used the past 10-years but it was still proportional and felt alright and if they didn't leak I'd have just kept them.Bad: really disappointed they're not even close to waterproof. So even tho I don't expect to get a full refund because I did wear them for two weeks - I'm sending back because I wear my work-boots 45-60 hours a week and they need to keep my feet dry.

Finally a great leather boot for women!
I absolutely love these boots. I have used them for lots of hiking, work, driving, horseback riding, mudding, fourwheeler and dirt bike riding and just everyday wear. They have kept my feet dry and clean through it all. They are very comfortable and I really like the height around my ankles. The composite toe took some getting used to but I love it now.I did have a small issue when I first ordered them. The ones I received had very clearly been worn at some point and where already starting to fall apart. I called amazon and they overnighted me a new, new pair and they are great. The only downsides I found are they will have to be broken in, especially if you intend to wear them for hiking. They also have just the tiniest amount of wiggle room if you wear regular socks so I recommend wearing hiking socks, thick socks or double socks to keep your feet from sliding around and getting blisters. Lastly they do make your feet hot which is to be expected for leather so be sure to air them out and sanitize them when not wearing them.
