The only reason I docked a star is because of the adhesive that was supplied with them. I read it was not good, and sure enough, after one day of the heatwave we are in, it was on the floor. I had cleaned the area really well first, to no avail. So I then mounted it with an outdoor command strip and it's been great so far, even when I tug on it.I mounted this beside my calf/shin area in my 2017 Subaru legacy. I do bump it sometimes, and it stays put. It hasn't moved even in bumpy terrain. I'm using it with a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield .380.

Love this magnet
Holds my full size SR9 and my G2c .40 under the steering wheel great! I did mount it with tape AND screws so I am not sure how the tape works without the screws, but I will be buying this again when I change vehicles!

Super strong magnets
They are super strong. You must Mount them with the screws because the double-sided tape is not strong enough.

Works great for my needs.
I mounted this under my steering wheel and it holds my 380 and has for months. The magnets are very strong and work well. It’s hard to beat and the price is good.
