Dab is pointless
This being a dab unit is pointless, it barely works. This being said the Bluetooth connection is solid and sound quality is decent for a cheap unit. Overall ok but 3 stars only due to dab issues

Only finds one station on dab remote doesn't work
straight forward swap over on a renault traffic van...only picks 1 station up on dab remote control doesn't work

Good value for money
Surprisingly good for the cost. The supplied windscreen antenna does a reasonable job, fitted into a motorhome and only used for receiving DAB radio. Display not visible from the right hand side but usable.

Good idea, poorly executed.
When my existing headunit started to fail I decided to find one that better suited my requirements: no CD mechanism, DAB+ tuner, Bluetooth hand-free & streaming, non-segment display. This unit stood out due to it's simple appearance and unique display. On arrival, the most noticeable characteristic is the lack of weight - without a CD mechanism, the metal case feels empty.Installation was relatively simple, despite my car's "standard" DIN wiring harness - permanent and switched 12v lines were swapped. Most aftermarket single-DIN headunits employ segment displays which attempt (unsuccessfully) to show alpha-numeric characters using a few lines. This unit uses a fully matrix display and, for the most part, displays all characters correctly. However, the display is obviously intended for left-hand-drive vehicles as the viewing angle of the LCD display is really very restrictive, as can be seen in the attached images. When viewed from directly in front, the display is crisp and clear but from the left, the contrast drops dramatically and, from the right, it becomes almost completely unreadable. Unfortunate for the driver.Display issues aside, the unit performs quite well. The audio is powerful and clear from all sources. Auto tuning of the FM radio is very simple to operate and the DAB performance is good, although storing favourite stations is not allowed and the tuner sensitivity seems to be quite low.Overall, this is a good head unit crippled by a poorly implemented display. Disappointing, but at least the driver won't be distracted.
