I had never used this Charlie cologne, so I took a chance. It came quickly, and I love it!

It is priced well and comes perfectly whole!

Kinda smells like caramel, the lid is a little funky when you try to fit it back on and the smell is just slightly odd but I think that’s personal preference

I haven’t seen this in years and had to grab it.. I was a Charlie Girl in the 80s and it smells so good .. and this scent brought back all the memories .. if you loved the scent buy again .. I promise you will be love it!My daughter is now stealing sprays from Charlie lol..

By today’s standards, this is heavy and a little aggressive. To me, it’s exactly what I love - a perfume with character and presence. Charlie Gold is long lasting, warm, uplifting, and beautiful. It makes me feel good to wear it. Very lightly applied, it can be office and church friendly; more and it’s a really good evening scent as heavier application brings out the spices and ambery base. It’s one of my all time favorites that smells and performs better than many MUCH more expensive perfumes.

I'd heard a lot of reviews about Charlie Gold being such a good amber perfume. For such a great price I decided to give it a try. First...Amazon's packaging was terrible so my perfume arrived with the box totally crushed. Fortunately, the perfume bottle was undamaged and amazingly did not leak. Charlie Gold has a very vintage vibe. I detect an aldehyde quality in the opening which isn't listed in the notes. Its pretty screechy to my nose in the beginning but eventually settles down. I would call it more of a musk perfume than an amber. Performance is excellent, especially since it's an EDT. I got around 6 hours of wear before it started to fade. Its ok, just not my style. If you are looking for a classic, old school perfume, this would be a good choice.

These Charlie perfumes stink. I ordered all the scents and don’t like none of them. The reviews say they smell good… they don’t. Using a body mist spray smells better than these perfumes.

Glad the scent is still the same after all these years. Wore this for the first time in 25 years, the compliments haven't stopped, such a classic cologne.
