Green cable color is much darker than it appears in photos. Otherwise, a very nice cable.
First of all, I did not give a rating for "stretch" even though there was a 5-star rating for that feature. This is a CAT6 cable, they should have no "stretch" to them, as they are not a pair of jeans! That aside, and back to my reason for review. The color that shows online is NOT the color this cable comes in. I still am giving it a 5 star review, because it is an excellent cable, well constructed, and I love the snag-free ridges that are molded into the boot.My problem is that I purchased this cable to best match a wall in my living room, which is a sort of sea green. The cable is for a PoE wireless AP that is mounted to the ceiling, and my wife wanted one that was "not that blue color." I showed her this cable, as I had chosen it for color as the lightest green among available patch cables; and the wife looked at it and approved. I received the cable, and quickly realized it is not the shade green that was pictured. This is a dark green, more like a hunter green. I don't fault Tripp-Lite, as I could see even in taking photos with my own camera that the auto-white-balance on my camera was visibly changing the color in the on-screen image to a Kelly green. I took two photos of the cable, one with and one without a white LED spot light, and you can see in the images that they appear to be two different colors. So, be warned if you are buying for color. Look at my images if you are ordering for color. The one of two images that appears darker green is closest to the actual color of the cable.

Excellent Quality & Great Value
I've gone through many network cables over the years and the Tripp Lite Cat6 is my favorite. To me, it comes down to these qualities:1. The connector - The Tripp Lite has an overmolded connector, which means the individual conductors are terminated in the connector and then the cable plastic is molded around all the individual wires. This makes the connector very strong and it's virtually impossible to pull out a wire or break an individual terminal. Metal-body connectors are nice, but they are much more expensive and they aren't really any stronger than a good overmolded connector. Insert-termination connectors (not overmolded, sometimes called modular) are cheap and can fail.2. The "snagless" design - Tripp Lite uses two little molded bumps at the edges of the connectors to avoid snags when pulling these cables through holes, around equipment, etc. This is a much better design than the typical flap that folds over the release tab. The flap style snagless cables are a pain compared to this design. The molded bumps are better and make it easier to remove the cable from the RJ45 jack.3. The strain relief - These cables have a long, flexible strain relief at the connector that is molded into the cable instead of simply sliding over it. This makes it very durable and easier to bend than other designs.4. True Cat6 - Cat5 and Cat5e might be fine for many applications, but Cat6 cables don't cost much more than Cat5 these days and they support higher bandwidth (such as Gigabit LAN and HDMI-over-LAN) so you have a bit more future-proofing. Cat6 cables tend to use larger gauge conductors and better sleeves than Cat5 cables too (in general, not always the case - There are great Cat5 cables out there, but for the money why not go with Cat6?).5. Cost - There just isn't any reason I can think of to spend more money than these Tripp Lites for good network cables. There are cables that might look nicer or come in fancier packaging, but who cares? The cable has to work and be reliable and these Tripp Lite Cat6 cables do just that. Plus, they have the advantages of good quality and design mentioned above. These cables are a great buy and a fantastic value.

It's Tripp Lite, but the design could be better
Got four of these in 20-foot, red green white yellow. The red is more of an ochre, in case that matters to you. They work, but frankly this 'snagless' design is bad no matter what version of it I buy. This one is just like the picture, with the 'snagless' idea supposedly protecting the plastic plug yet not overlaying it. Thus, your fingers can TOUCH the long 'finger' in the clicker portion. Well, if your fingers are small enough. That's an improvement over the typical one which has a layer of rubbery plastic OVER the long hard plastic clicker, because that clicker won't plug in as easily, using the typical style. Even so, it's a pain. You must be very gentle, and of course you must be sure you HEAR that 'click' when you plug the thing into router or computer, or you're sunk. The cables work. But frankly I'm not sure they protect the 'finger'. And, they are cumbersome to plug in, especially in tight corners, when you don't have small human fingers. Not sure there is any good way to do that, without preventing you from being able to use the 'finger' as you need, for a sure connection. Good news is, you can CUT the plastic alleging to 'protect' the finger.By the way, if you're an XFINITY user, you should have gotten a new modem/router with FOUR ethernet cables now at the back, so you can hook up four computers to it at any one time. Back in September, XFINITY removed the bandwidth cap. So this is a nice thing, to have colored cables. Finally, a note about the colors: a) I'm so sick of black in computers and cords, I could scream: who has black walls? Then b), I have many computers, so the color coding helps me know which cable at the router, belongs to which machine (I refuse to use wireless or wi-fi, even though I have it).

All good except not very flexible
As per title: good quality. Ideal boot type, not one of the shrouded latch covers that are so hard to press to release. My only negative is the cable stiffness. Used on small devices they can tug them around. I've had to use cable ties at times only because of that. I'm kinda picky about these things (as I use a LOT of cables of all types). These are close to but not THE perfect patch cable for all uses due to the stiffness. SO close...

I only got 14 feet
There does not appear to be anything wrong with the product, but I have not been able to use it as I only got 14 feet - I needed just under 15 feet. I ordered 15 feet. At first I thought I mis-measured the length I needed, but I measured 3x. So I got a friend to measure, he said "why don't you just measure the new cord", sure enough it was only 14 feet. Very bummed.

No conseguiras algo mejor a éste precio
