Q: Can you tell me please if the microphone input port will accept input from another microphone, or only the headset that comes with the product?

This amp has two different input ports. One is for a standard 1/8" microphone jack and the other is for a 1/8" "line" (from a mpeg player of some sort). I purchased both an over-the-head mic and a clip-on lavalier mic. Both work just fine in the amp.

Q: What is the voltage output of the charger? I mixed up the charger with a bunch of others, and now I don't know which one is the correct one.

all i know is i bought it and it sucked...it worked badly for a short time and then in a couple of months just died. so i will never buy anything on amazon again

Q: Would this be suitable for singing (not professionally) while playing the keyboard?

I have been involved with sound systems for stage work and I have used the VoiceBooster to the extent that I can share this opinion. If you are talking about "belting" a song at the top of your lungs, then you might get some feedback issues. If your talking about sitting at the piano and singing softly to moderate, I think this could be a great solution. You don't need a sound technician, you don't need a boom mike stand, you don't need mike cables or suitcase size amplifiers, yeah, this could be a simple and great solution to singing while you play the keyboard to entertain or share your talents with a classroom size crowd. Give it a try. You might even want to go to the next size up to give you a little more room on the high volume stuff. I read an article about a street preacher that used it and it was linked to a video of the gentleman using it in London and he was speaking very loud and it sounded great.

TK is a great seller. I would just contact him, and he will most likely very accommodating. It sounds like you've had this a very short time if you've only used it twice. If I remember correctly everything is covered for at least 6 months. Another tip, I would recommend the MR 2800 model for upgrade. The quality of the MR2200 is ok, but not even close the the 2800!
