Very useful
I bought this book to gain some insight into fixed income instruments before doing an internship in a bank. The book really helped me, but I must admit that as a beginner in the subject, I struggled to follow the author. Concepts and chapters are well explained but also very dense. Some more examples (and why not, some exercises) would have helped me understand better the content.Still, I found the book to be very well organized and the content very practic-relevant. It was nice to be able to apply and understand what I learned from the book later on during my internship. I would have often been lost without it.As a beginner, however, this wouldn't be my first option. I would first check there isn't any other easy-to-read introduction book on bonds.

Solid reading to get an insight on bonds
This is a very good book. The topics are discussed and explained with academic precision. Recommended for finance professional beginners, certainly not for private investors, as most of the topics treated are of little interest for them. A bit more clarity in some areas would award the fifth star.

A must have for practicioners!
This book gives a nice practical overview on bondmarkets. I would strongly recommend this book to people who are starting their career in the fixed income industry as an appropriate starter. It is written in a straightforward way, easy to comprehend and not so mathematically/theoretically overburdened like most scientific literature. Clearly 5 Stars!
