Another Amazing Book By Talented Leia Stone!!!😊🐺
First I want say I had been having major withdrawals from having finished The Matefinder series. So when I woke up on July 1st which happened to be the release date and my birthday. Needless to say it was crazy around due to that the 4th of July. So when I was finally able to sit back and start Keeper(Matefinder Next Generation book 1) I was in my happy place. From the first few pages I was started to have a connection with Anya and her jokester twin brother protector Jaxon. I don't want to ruin the experience of reading the book with out spoilers because I know how much I enjoyed falls in love with many new characters and old from The Matefinder series. So excited and sad at the same time that I finished reading Keeper now I have to wait for the next installment of Matefinder Next Generation Book 2. So I want to leave with saying if you loved the Matefinder Series you'll love this one so pick up your copy today!

To much. Quality was lacking for the quantity
I really enjoyed the Matefinder Series and was happy to see the next generation of wolves- but honestly, I'm rather confused by it all, and I'm not looking forward to the next books. It just seems like it went by too fast, everything that happened in the book took place in about what 3 days? No details or character relationships could really be built at that fast of a pace. The book should have been longer. The charters should have had more details and more dialogue. With the intensely fast pace, I'm left with no real connection to the book or the characters.Anya and Jaxon, are twins born from Aurora and Kai who are the alphas of the Mount hood wolf pack. Aurora who is a matefinder- able to pair mates and rebuild the wolf population is now guiding her daughter (Anya ) to take on the task of matefiner. Anya is hesitant and feels she has been living in her mother's shadow, she's sheltered and has lived her life at peace with humans. For months Anya has dreams of a human boy, later she finds he is her mate and he's dieing THEN BOOM everything just goes into warp speed. He's her mate. then he's dying. Wait he's not dying he's taking her power. She becomes a keeper, he becomes the mate finder. Humans turn on wolves. Kai is taken. Then there are skinwalkers who can take multiple shapes. Then this and that and then I'm just downloaded with too much information to really value anything in the book. For the record, it's not the amount of action and information that is prompting me to leave a bad review, it's the QUALITY in which the writing was written. It was entertaining enough but that's it nothing too special- not enough to recommend. In the end, I feel like I was turning the pages just to get through the book, not because I was eager to know more.

Amazing Like Always
This book was a very good book. I loved that Leia Stone continued the story of the Matefinder and the lives of the characters we met in the Matefinder Series and have grown to love. I loved the character Anya. She is such a strong, funny, interesting character. I also love Jax, he is extremely hilarious and such a loveable character. I wish we got to see more of her friends, they seemed to be very interesting. I also really loved to get to see Kai and Aurora again in this book. It’s so interesting to see these strong characters in a different light as parents. I would love for one of the books to take place while one of the characters have young children so that we can have a better look into what life as a young wolf cub would be like.Overall, I really loved this book like I love the previous Matefinder Series. Leia Stone really knows how to write. I fall in love with every book that I read that she is a part of. I really hope you all would give this book a shot. And if you haven’t read the Materfinder Series, go check it out. It is true that you can read this book on its own, but reading the Matefinder Series is better at understanding some of the facts about this world and you get a better feeling in what Aurora and Kai are like before they had children. This book is amazing and you would not regret reading it, I promise.

If you loved Matefinder, you'll love Keeper
Leia Stone's latest effort certainly does not disappoint. Her writing style continues to improve, book by book, and her creativity continues to become more refined. Many of the characters from Matefinder are still in this story, but take a backseat to the next generation in the Portland pack. If you're looking for another story about Kai and Aurora, you might be a bit disappointed as this story focuses on their children. However, if you loved the Matefinder universe, you'll be entranced with this quick-paced, exciting, and imaginative book. The author says you don't have to have read the Matefinder trilogy to enjoy this book, but I find it all the more enjoyable because I read Matefinder.Enjoy!

Matefinder NG 4 stars
An expansion's story on Materfinder. Keeper follows Anya and Jaxon. While Matefinders focus was on werewolves and vampires, Keeper seems to be more focused on the spirit realm. I like Keeper, but I expected more. Maybe I became to invested into Auroras and Kai' s relationship that I was hoping they would be the focus....My own wishing. They are intertwined into the story and they feel like the characters you've already come to love so that's a major plus ( nothing worse than reading a book with characters you already know and them feeling like they are not themselves) While Matefinder left it clearly open for a spin off, I did notice some of the storyline seems repetitive but also at the same time just slightly different. I did find some parts to be intriguing and I wish the story would have had more of an ending. It felt incomplete and unfinished even though I already developed that it would be ending with a cliffhanger. I would love to see how this story unfolds.** Update the release date has been set for Oct 2017.

Don't miss it!
This was a huge anticipated book for me this year, and I was a little worried it wouldn't be as good as matefinder. Which I would rate as one of my favourite books. But man...this was just as good. Better even. I loved absolutely everything about this story. Seriously Leia nailed it. If I could give more than five stars I would.
