ZaapTV HD509N Full HD 1080 WebTV Player for Arabic, Turkish, Greek, Persian TV channels and more

I bought this IPTV after looking up reviews and i have decided to give it a go but then after trying it for couple days here is my review and why I think it is not worth it.1. the picture quality is bad, i have super duper internet speed, yet the pictures quality is bad. i have Roku and i use it the quality of Roku on the same internet i have i super HD. thus ZaapTV failed to provide the HD picture2. there are a lot of channels, i am not sure some did not work some did3. i have other friends who have the device and after i have asked them they said after the one year use ZaapTV they will require you to pay yearly subscription to continue using it.. and that was it for me to decide to return it.. ZaapTV should be honest if they want to charge fees then they should be honest about it.. maybe i would keep it but this is it..4. i am used to pause, backward and forward,.. i was hoping this is the case with it.. but it does not ,, the onyl thing is it pause but you can not forward nor backward.. they should work on enhancing it..5. i tried to record on USB stick,, but then where do i find them to play on the device.. could not find the recording.. again another functionality that did not work for me6. ZaapTV maybe invest your time in making the app works on available boxes like Roku or Apple7. i have tried the apps (netflix, youtube, etc..) very bad quality and no where close to the Roku i have.. same apps on Roku provided better qualityI mean think about it $400 for one year.. why don't you get dish then?? for the same price and better quality.,.you can try it for your self but i am not gonna keep it..

- this rating is only for the product not the seller.- the product hardware is good i can give it 4/5.- for the software i give it 2/5 as it freezes alot without any reason i guess they need to work on the software to make it more stable.- for the channels i'm rating the Arabic channels only, its missing MBC group but after jail-breaking it worked fine (no MBC Masr yet) but i guess its has nothing to do with the device but its MBC group them selves as they don't give copy rights to broadcast over the internet "guessing".- for the price i've searched alot before i buy it i give it 1/5 as its overpriced for sure but you don't have an option if u want to pay one time payment not a monthly subscription.- for the support i didn't try it yet as I've been using it for one month only and i'm happy that i didn't want to contact the support till now.

this is great. i don't know why these people are complaining. it probably doesn't work for most because they don't have high speed internet. i got 50/25 speed with allot of devices and it works flawlessly. no problems. it really heats up but it doesn't effect anything. also you have to press the power button every time to turn of instead of turfing off after a couple of hours automaticlly. it would be nice for them to update their controls and remote functions, and upgrade their remote and make it stronger signal wise. i dint know if you can program a universal remote. i haven't tried. all in all, this is a great product and the other people who write bad reviews are bull suiters. plus i know other people who have it and works fine. there is also a 30 day free trial so i don't know why the others who complain just return it. they are probably face from the other iptv predecessors.

Works perfect for what we intended it for which was for my parents in law to be able to watch Greek TV. Before was paying monthly subscription for them to watch it from online. They being older are not particularly tech savvy and I was getting calls every other week to fix it. No longer. Since we bought this they never have had an issue and it's so easy to use. Saves them alot of money too. Worked so well got my sister in law one and they love it. Say good buy Greek Americans to expensive online access from subscription or satellite dishes. This product gives it all to you for a fraction of the price long term

Update (Jan 2016):After just few months of use, channels started disappearing one by one. I contacted support and they said we're sorry nothing we can do. Now, I'm left with few undesirable channels.Very good product and includes all channels. Not sure why people give negative reviews. All you need is good internet speed. My only complain is that the software can be more user friendly.

I was referred by couple of my friends they have the Zaap 509N and they are quite happy.I purchased the Zaaptv 509N from Amazon and received it on time. After setting it up and used it for about almost an hour, it froze.I called Amazon explained everything to their agent, it didn't take too long, in no time at all, the problem was solved with a full refund.Now I'm looking to repair it.It's a good product all the people I know who use Zaaptv 509N they are happy with it.Buying it from Amazon it's the best insurance policy.

Easy to set up. Make sure you have a high speed connection. It is a third generation solution HD509N. It can further be advanced. The user interface is not the friendliest. Every now and then, you need to restart or reset the box. All in all, it is a better solution than paying Dish Network $70 a month for a dozen Arabic channels package.
