I discovered this fruit and herb crumble whilst searching for something new to add to my birds’ current food mix, which I make up by blending together a variety of different food brands and vitamin oil.I was drawn to the fact that the crumble doesn’t contain any artificial preservatives, colours or flavourings. The ingredients’ listing of banana, papaya and mango (albeit in relatively small amounts), along with parsley, honey, grains, very small seeds and bakery products made it sound like an appetising crumble.Before adding this product to their main food mix for the first time, I put a tiny amount of the crumble in my hand, to see whether my birds would like it, which they did. However, despite the crumble having a nice consistency, I will continue to mix it in small amounts with their current food, rather than offering it on its own.
