NOT PERFECT, BUT PROBABLY THE BEST HOLDER!!!
After purchasing this phone holder, I was given an opportunity to share my experience with this product, so i'm taking just a few minutes to do so. In short, this is probably one of the best holders you can get (and for those who may wonder, my phone is an Iphone 6S Plus, vehicle is a 2003 Infiniti QX4 [aka-luxury version of the Nissan Pathfinder from the same year]). I live in Arizona, & we recently passed a law banning the use of handheld devices while driving. Although you can't be fined for violating the new law until 1/2021, I decided not to wait until last second as to avoid the possible inconvenience of being pulled over & given a warning. I also realized that it takes a while for me to break a bad habit, so I figured it might be best to get used to having a phone holder in my car NOW instead of waiting until tickets start getting handed out.At this point, I began the search for a phone holder, but the suction cup/adhesive attachments found on most are a no-go here in the hot Arizona heat (as are the units that block one or more of your A/C vents [ABSOLUTELY unacceptable here lol]). I also didn't want to be bothered with the hassle of having to modify the casing of my phone to incorporate magnets, so I looked for something that would clamp hold the phone WITHOUT magnets/modification of the case & I also wanted a holder that would clamp on to my dash (preferably right above my speedometer cluster so that i'm not having to take my eyes off the road to glance down or toward the center of my dash).I found a few units that would clamp to the dash, but it seemed like they all would force you to have the phone in a "horizontal/landscape" position with no option of placing it into the other position, & I wanted to have the additional option of having it in the "vertical/portrait" position (so that i'm not having to turn my head 90 degrees to my left or right just to answer a call &/or to dial a # [while at a red light, of course]). I'm sure I didn't look at ALL of the options, but I looked at quite a few & this was the only model I came across that checked ALL of my boxes. I've had this holder for about a week as of today, & so far I have really enjoyed it. As I had hoped, it easily clips on to my dashboard directly above my speedometer cluster, thus allowing me to keep my eyes on the road DIRECTLY ahead of me (whether i'm using GPS or answering a call). As mentioned, it can also adjust to either orientation & (probably best of all) I don't have to sacrifice one of my A/C vents & risk melting this summer. What would I change? Well, as a means of keeping this review honest, I will say that the padding for the lower portion of the clamp (the portion that clamps to the underside of your dashboard) is attached to the clamp by adhesive, & after a few days, this padding started to slide off (thus causing the holder to slip a little bit). I've re-attached the padding a few times & I may just go grab some super glue/loctite at some point to resolve this minor issue once & for all. As of right now, this isn't a huge problem as the company was thoughtful enough to include little "grooves" near each end of the lower padding that wrap around these little notches on this portion of the clamp & offer what seems to be additional stability if/when the adhesive on the padding starts to weaken. Nonetheless, maybe having replacement padding included in the packaging (for this portion of the holder) or (better yet) even having this portion of the clamp somehow built with softer material (thus eliminating the need for "glued-on" padding altogether).Another thing I would probably change would be the depth of the lower portion of the clamp. while it clamps on my dashboard without much headache (& while this will of course be different from one vehicle to the next), on my vehicle there are about another 2-3 inches of clearance behind the end of the clamp & the glass on my speedometer. I feel like having that extend further back (or maybe having an option for some type of extension) would help with stability as the holder has fallen off a few times here & there whenever I hit even a minor bump in the road (presumably as a result of this &/or the lower clamp padding sliding off). Also making the bottom portion a bit wider might help add to the stability as well.Lastly, I would probably make a slight adjustment to the portion that holds the phone in order to allow the phone to be positioned more straight up/down as opposed to an angle (the closest I can currently get to a straight 90 degree up/down angle is about 120 degrees, which is a bit of a limitation). There are times where I feel like the angling is just a bit too limited & I just wish I could have an option to extend the phone portion out a few inches in order to allow enough necessary clearance (between the top of my phone/windshield/bottom of my phone/top of the clamp portion) to adjust it to a straight up/down 90 degree angle. This would probably be more of an issue if I was a few inches shorter, so thankfully it hasn't been a deal-breaker. Nonetheless, if this could be changed (along with the other items mentioned above), this thing would literally be UNSTOPPABLE.Overall, none of these "What would I change?" items have presented enough of an issue to cause me to regret the purchase. As stated, I am LOVING this holder & at the end of the day this is probably one of my best purchases on Amazon! Enjoy guys, & if you're in Arizona, this (again) is probably your BEST option as of right now. Hated to be forced into making this purchase, but i'd rather have this now & avoid getting a ticket once this law goes into full effect later. The good thing with this holder is the fact that it was SUPER cheap, yet it works great (which, as we ALL know, is not always the case when you purchase something affordable). HEADS UP: Although I don't have time right now, i'll see if there's a way I can post a video on here sometime this week just to give a better visual of what i'm talking about, so be on the lookout.======UPDATE 8-28-19 (2ND PURCHASE);Just as a quick update, I purchased a second JunDa Car Phone Holder & it looks like I bought it just in time because at the time of this updated review they are out of stock with no ETA on restock... One change i'm noticing is that they have included an additional adapter that allows you to remove the "holder" portion & place it on the additional adapter which can clamp on to an A/C vent or similar fixture... Let me explain the LIFESAVER that this can be; I personally own an iPhone 6SPlus, & I live in Arizona.... During the summer months, that dashboard area gets EXTREMELY warm, & that heat doesn't seem to do too well with an all-metal iPhone... Over the last few months, there have been several times where I simply could not place the phone on this holder because after a couple minutes of sitting in that area of my car, it would overheat & i'd have to go back to holding it down on my lap. Well, the additional adapter gives me a SECOND mounting option during this time of the year when the dashboard area is just too warm here...Man, I am SOO glad I bought a second one of these, & since I still have the first one I was able to simply use the "holder" portion from that one for the additional adapter.... So until things cool down, my phone will be on the second adapter right in front of the least used A/C vent. If this wasn't the best holder available before, the additional adapter CERTAINLY places it into this category now. I'll buy a 3rd one if they come back in stock, without question.

Updated, Cheap and Cheaply Made
Update: after a couple weeks of ownership, I've decided to downgrade my rating. The unit no longer stays attached to my dash during moderate acceleration. With the phone in it, it slips off the dash, and flops on the floorboard. The foam rubber backing, on the top piece, isn't grippy enough to grab the dash, and the lower piece that grabs the underside of the dash, has a rubber strip that's held on with the world's worst adhesive.Original:The concept of this phone mount works well in a bouncy pickup truck. The phone is secure and doesn't wiggle around, when driving down the road. The downside to this mount is that it's very cheaply made. I realize it's a cheap price, but why even make it if you're not going to put any effort into it. The rubber pads that grip the lip of the dash have dethatched in less than two weeks, just from inserting and removing my phone. The rubber pads within the jaw of the mount, where the phone is secured, come out easily as well. The jaw springs are too strong IMO, and I hope they loosen up a little over time. I usually need two hands to remove the phone and due to the tension the springs have, I feel like the mount will fatigue soon and break.I'd gladly pay double or more for a properly made version of this... maybe all aluminum will properly secured rubber pads.I won't stop using this until it fails, but I know my quest for the perfect vehicle phone mount continues.

Best phone mount ever!
Long story short: this has amazing grip for both the dash and the phone. Well padded to avoid scratches. Both attachments for the car work very well but I actually prefer the vent mount over the dash clip. Works very well for my 2018 Camry.Long story: Nothing has worked in my vents until now. I thought the dash clip would work best as I wanted my phone up near my line of vision without bumping my hazard lights which is in the middle of my dash. 🤦‍♀️ Well that took up a lot of my vision. Disappointed in vent mounts in the past I jammed the dash clip into my vent and accidentally dislodged a vent thingie.(I was determined this clip was going to be the best thing EVAH! until I broke my vent being dumb.)Then I tried the vent clip which is amazingly sturdy and easy to attach and remove without breaking vent thingies. It sits the phone about an inch off my vent system so no more driving thru the streets with my hazards on! Also my vent is able to stay pointed where I set it without the weight of the phone pulling it down. Couldn’t be more pleased with my purchase!

Worked well until it didn't.
Worked well until the spring that holds it tight broke. It was internal so I couldn't fix it. I have to be very careful using it now as the phone can pop out.

Great product, but some slight usage issues...
This product is exactly as described! It easily fits on my dashboard and it stays! It has a strong hold and won't easily be moved; that can also be a flaw as when you go to move it, if you aren't careful, it will scratch your dash. They have protective pads on the holder to prevent this, but with the strong hold, it doesn't completely protect the dash. The spring clip that holds the phone is strong and holds the phone snugly. I haven't had any issues with the phone coming out of the holder. However, if you have any type of bulky case or pop socket on the back of your phone, this holder is tough to use. I find with a pop socket, and thin case, only the bottom few inches of the phone will fit into the phone holder. Even still, it holds very well. I'd like for the phone holder piece, not the dash clip, to have a little more flexibility to adjust angles, but it won't move. So, if it sits at a 90 degree angle, that's where its staying, you can't move it back to 45 degrees. For me, that's a bit frustrating. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and it meets my needs. Its definitely more sturdy than the vent clip holders.
