I bought these for beading as the initial replacement set I bought had tiny tiny holes.These have a wire loop at the top which is a bit easier, however the needles are thick, too thick for 1 - 3 mm bore beads( bore being the hole in the middle for threading, not the overall size of the bead).Sadly they are not fit for my beading, but hope they will come in useful should I need to thread larger bore beads.The other thing to mention is where the loop is connected, it creates an area thicker than the rest of the shaft of the needle, so you might get a bead onto the needle, but may get stuck before it gets to the thread / yarn.I am not sure, but guess that you will want at least a 4 mm bore needle onto a 1-2mm thread, but 5 mm bore( again this is the hole in the bead, not the size of the bead, only mention this as I made this mistake when I first started beading, e.g bought 5mm beads and was surprised they did not fit, turns out a 5 mm bead is a bead that is 5 mm in total, the bore was only 1 mm in this case, so did not fit the 2 mm cord)

I love these needles and use them all of the time. Sadly I managed to snap a couple and one went up the hoover (which almost meant the end of said hoover) so I ordered some more. Nothing wrong with the needles themselves but there were no stoppers in the tubes they came in so as I opened the packet they all fell on the floor. I spent more than a few minutes trying to find them, and on pale floor boards is no easy task!So as I said the needles are great but the packaging ain’t.

I should have bought these years ago as it is so easy to thread them now as having larger eyes is so gtood to get this done in seconds which had been taking me what seemed like forever.

Very disappointed I have fine beads and thought the needle would go through the bead hole

The needles are not suitable .they are made from twisted metal so are really thick and the head does not collapse.they might go through a bead but it would have a hold the size of a polo mint
