Still works, but note new can design
First, can has been redesigned, for those used to the old yellow cap... The one pictured here on Amazon at the time of this review has old yellow top, while new design is red with different writing on front. Attached is the image from WD-40's site. Second, still works the same. Used one can so far, no issues (some pulleys and car windows). I have bought this product in the past, bought it this time, and would buy again. From previous (very rare) experiences, try it out during the return period, just in case cap, straw, or another part got loose or broken.

Very good at water displacing ok as a penetrating oil
Even though this Is not my favorite penetrating oil, I used this for many years and continue to use It, but mostly when I don't need to sacrifice my Howe's lubricator. I endorse this product.

This has multi-dimensional uses
This product is reasonably priced and has so many different uses… squeaky hinges, gummed up door locks, air guns, friction surfaces like tread mills and I even use it on sticking vacuum attachments. So far, we really like this WD-40 Silicone lubricant.

Use for everything
I use this lubricant for everything from gate locks to windows to sliding doors. It is really useful in that it can be applied to both metal and plastic in virtually any application. You don't have to worry about it degrading or dissolving almost all surfaces. However, although it is water resistant, it will not last more than a month or two in really wet conditions. Also, the spray action is pretty severe and is difficult to throttle down when you are applying to areas where you don't want over spray. Reducing the spray aperture would probably make many applications much less messy - particularly indoor locks, windows and hinges. Regardless, and indispensable item for any homeowner.

Specialty Use: Snowblowers
Purchased this product to use specifically on the discharge chute of my snowblower. If works great for reducing the clogging when blowing wet snow. Of course it works equally well for all other uses where silicone lubricant is recommended.

Lubricates as intended
WD 40 silicon version gave me a benefit over the regular version in that it does not attract dust and therefore lasts longer.I write this review over a year after initially spraying all of my door hinges and I have since not needed to re-spray.

What more can be said
First let me say, the invitation to review I received from amazon was to evaluate the Seller NG INC. The review page is geared toward reviewing the product ordered. So, I do both. I ordered the water-resistant lubricant. NG accepted the order, issued a delivery date, and shipped the product. I received the spray on the estimated delivery. All is right with the world. The water-resistant lubricant worked very nicely. So as far as this transaction I'm a happy camper.

Good idea
The folding sprayer is beefy and I can't lose the little stick/tube.It sprays far enough to reach across under my coach and spray my Bigfoot leveling hydraulic rams.Check with manuf. of you equipmemt. Some hydraulic rams need wheel bearing grease, and some need silicone spray.Once your hydraulic rams rust or pit you will surely regret not taking this simple precaution.
