I guess HP has updated drivers to "read" when you're using a non-HP cartridge now? Was working fine, and now I get a message that is it a "counterfeit", please use only genuine HP ink, yadda, yadda.I'm so glad HP is trying to protect the world from recycled cartridges and add to the plastic waste of the world, aren't you? Because that's all we need now - more ink cartridges tossed in the trash instead of recycled and refilled. Ink should be like gas. Can go to any gas station you want to get gas. Ink should be the same way. Let us buy our ink cartridges from anywhere, you HP fascists.I will remember this about HP next time I have to buy a new printer. It sure won't be an HP printer.

Overall the quality of printing is really good. Official Ink Cartridge is much better, but I am satisfy with the quality of printing. Please note that low Ink warning will come out from your printer pretty early, but don't change it. I was able to use over a month after the low ink warning. I think it can print out about same amount with the official ink cartridge.However, I bought this ink cartridge on February 10, 2020 and the price was $27.99. Now they sell at $50.99. Nearly doubled the price. I understand if the price goes up by few dollars since it impacted many companies, but doubling price is too much. Better think before you buy if you want to buy from the company who takes advantage current situation.

I ordered 2 black cartridges one worked fine after bypassing error msg the other did not. I contacted the company via email. After asking for picture of the message and multiple emails I just got tired of them. Apparently they are confused because the error may is for a color cartridge. So they had about 1000 questions including the obvious did you put it in the right slot. Yes. I did. Twice. I ordered black. The label says black and I put it where the black cartridge goes. I would have been happy if they just sent me a new one but now I'm out of ink and have no ink! I would have purchased a lot of ink as I'm an accountant and have 2 students. Their loss!

I don't use my printer much except for letters and Amazon returns. But I was really surprised at this product, so kudos are due:Great print quality, with deep, rich black ink and NO sputtering even on the very first print test page! So let's see how long the cartridges last as I print black ink only pages.I especially like the recycle bag included with the two cartridges, which I've already filled with the two empty printer ink cartridges I had from before. I've ordered replacement ink before, and this is the first company that sent me a little bag to send them my empty cartridges. I mean, how many people think to return their empties to an office supply store, where you need to sell a kidney to buy ink refills? Exactly!So depending on how well these work, I'll probably be ordering again. But so far as I print a gazillion Amazon return labels from my family wanting to buy their own Christmas stuff? The labels look fantastic with the perfect amount of ink and I still have both kidneys. Yay!

Awesome ink for a great price. I Installed this in my HP printer with no issues and I will be ordering again when I run out. I print worksheets for my kids in bulk, about 80 to 100 sometimes at one time, and these cartridges are holding up well with plenty of ink. I decided to switch when I paid twice as much for HP brand cartridges and they run out of ink before they are supposed to. I also like that valuetoner already includes a recycle bag with your order. With HP ink you have to go to their website to order recycle bags. Thank you Valuetoner for saving me time and money!

After returning from a winter down south, I found the name brand printer cartridge I had put in shortly before I left wouldn't work. I decided to go less expensive so I wouldn't be so frustrated when we got back this past April. To my surprise, after using the printer cartridge cleaning on the printer, this cartridge worked! I've done a lot of printing since then and you can't tell the difference between HP and this one. The print quality is equal to HP cartridges. There is no smearing. Draft is nice and dark. Not even a spit or spittle from the cartridge! I'm certainly a satisfied customer and will not pay for high priced cartridges again. Nor will I hesitate to print whatever I want! The value for money is unparalleled.

I got this, put it in my printer and printed a few pages. Everything came out a little blurry even after calibrating and cleaning and alignment. So I was gonna use it for my everyday homeschooling needs but not when we had stuff we wanted to look good or photos. Fast forward 2 weeks... the black ink I ordered is now magenta... and ONLY magenta. It is leaking slowly everywhere and has somehow messed up my color cartridge because of how it leaked. I have an HP AMP 100, so thank God I can still use it as a speaker. After thoroughly cleaning my printer and all his little parts and straps, I had to buy a new printer... so I reccomend not getting these ink cartridges.

I had read a few reviews prior to purchasing this ink that stated that it would run out way before it should have. That was not the case for me. It works well in my classroom with my little flash sale $19.99 printer. I print a ton of letters for parents and the occasional documents that need to be delivered to the schools main printer.
