Lailieu Soil Moisture Meter for Garden Testing

i’m very new to plants but i’m already addicted i’ve bought 24 plants in less than i month, ya i know !! but i wanted to make sure that i got it right and when to water them ... it really works great i use it about every 3 days on all my plants this way i know for sure if they need water or not or if they they only need a little. i must admit i didn’t really think it would work but i works like a charm every time i’ll never have plants without it now i don’t have to even think about it, with this i always know and it only takes about 30 seconds to a minute to know, just have to wipe it really good from one plant to the next. i highly recommend this this to any plant mommy

Another over sold product that is garbage from our friends across the ocean.

1. The light meter will tell you if you are in the dark or in the sunlight. You can kinda tell that already if your eyes are open. the light intensity seems to match what the scale shows. But at best it's a toy indicator. It may be accurate.2. The PH meter never changes even when dipped in 4.01 solution. Stays at 7.5 constantly.3. As for moisture. Water is a 6 on a scale of 1-10. The buffer 4.01 solution was wetter at 8.When inserted into saturated very soggy soil it only showed a 2 on the scale. Indicating Dry and need to water.This piece of junk is not even a good enough to be a joke.

Received with high hopes that were immediately dashed. I left it in the planter to try for a soil moisture test and it consistently read dry even when it was just watered. So I stuck it in a glass of water and it still read dry! Then tried the light metering, it showed dark in direct sunlight. I didn’t even try for ph, thank goodness for 30 day returns!

Unfortunately the light sensor never worked while the moisture one does. Compared to my old one I think it underestimates how wet the soil is. I've dipped it in plain water and it'll still read halfway wet.

I tend to overwater, so when in doubt this is a big help to me! It is difficult to read due to the small print, but my eyesight is terrible, so that’s a problem I experience regularly 🤓

These pH meters are a mixed bag, to say the least. The Lailieu Soil Test Kit 3-in-1 Soil Tester did not live up to its billing as the pH meter was inoperative. Even though the light and moister functions appeared to work, the unit was returned for a replacement. Keeping my figures crossed.

really unsure if this works as the readout is pretty generalized in guessing. tge packaging has some recommendarions for houseplants but of course not all.i cant say im ecstaric at this point but after i use ut more i will update if i become impressed with it.i cannot recommend at this time.
