I am writing this review for several reasons. This is our second trunk that we have bought for my daughter. She goes to Christian Summer Camp every year and all of the girls buy these. Ours lasted for 3 years until our wheels broke and she outgrew that one anyways. So we bought her a new one and this time through Amazon. Well,we didn’t open it for a month and when we did ,something was wrong with one of the wheels. AMAZON WAS VERY RUDE ABOUT THIS! MY GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE CAME THROUGH THE COMPANY AND NOT AMAZON! The company is EVERYTHING SUMMER CAMP and you can buy from them directly as well. I sent an email to the company and they have already shipped me a new wheel!! I am just ecstatic!I am upset at Amazon ,but I am very pleased with EVERYTHING SUMMER CAMP! So do know that you will be taken care of with this company! It’s expensive,but worth it! The only reason we got a new one is because she has all kinds of young girl stickers and now she is older and wanted something that looks like a teenager. Otherwise,we could have called company and had the wheel system fixed. We are keeping this old one as a treasure chest! Thank you so much!!EDIT: Our wheel came in and the company even called me to tell me they sent it to me !! I am just thrilled! All of the girls have these and they stand on them to get into their bunks and it’s hauled here and there . Again,we are keeping her old trunk for storage. Nothing at all was wrong with the actual trunk It was the wheel system and I could have just bought another system or had it replaced by company. So if you buy one of these, know that the company has OUTSTANDING customer service! DO BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Trunk itself is fine but wheel fell off rather quickly. Rather than contact seller and figure how to fix, how about they make a good product like in the old days?

I love this chest I use it all the time and when I’m not using it. It is used as decor in my room

This year was my daughter's first ever sleepaway camp, so I bought her her first trunk (with the wheels already installed) The trunk is heavy on its own, and I am a single mom that had to carry it by myself, so I bought this one because of the wheels (even though it cost more). I packed her trunk put the wheels on (they were kind of wobbly but I figure it was normal. I pulled it and the wheels started coming off. I was running late so I just kept putting them back on. When I pulled it from the car and pulled it when we got to camp one of the wheels bended. I fixed it the best I could..... I picked up my daugther yesterday, and now both wheels are bended, and it can't be pulled anymore. I wouldn't waste the extra money if I was you. My daugther is going back for another session in 3 weeks, and now I have to figure out how I am going to move the trunk....(on the positive side, the actual trunk made it through in pretty good shape)

My daughter attends 4 weeks of camp every year and absolutely loves this trunk. Good size and great durability

The trunk itself is of good quality although the finish scratches VERY EASILY. The wheel broke THE VERY FIRST TIME using it. Not worth the extra money. Very disappointed.

$$$40 to get repaired on the “free lifetime warranty”!!! Trunk seemed good enough. I only bought it because it said there was a free lifetime warranty. For the price, it should have lasted more than one camp. We didn’t even put it on a plane or anything. Shipped it to camp in the original box and packing materials it was shipped to us in. After one camp, the hinge is broken and the company is charging $40 for me to box it up and ship it back to them. Lousy customer service. For the price, I should not have to pay anything to get the trunk repaired. They should have sent a replacement or a free shipping label. I wish we had just stuck with the wheeled Rubbermaid tote we used last year.
