Crayola Bathtub Crayons, Assorted Colors 10 ea

My daughter has always been hesitant about getting in the bath and I bought her the Color My Bath! 300 Color Changing Bath Tablets which she loves. Then I saw these and I had to try them. They are a little bit difficult to clean up from our tiled walls but if she draws on the ceramic bathtub, it wipes right off. I gave her washcloths to clean up and she calls them "erasers" and she loves to draw and erase and then draw more! Yesterday I noticed her soaking a washcloth and sticking it to the wall and drawing on it! Then when she was done, she took the washcloth off, washed the colors, and put the washcloth back on the wall. I thought, what a genius idea!! No need to scrub the walls when she finishes each bath and she feels like a professional artist drawing on her little "canvas." The fact that my four year old came up with that idea on her own makes me proud of her. And I have to recommend this idea to other parents who have complained about having to clean up after every bath with these crayons. Give your children washcloths and try my daughters idea! At the end of the bath, we just rinsed the washcloths and that was the end of cleanup! Simple, mess-free, and so much fun! My daughter did not want to come out of the bath even though she has her own large easel with paints and crayons she can color on outside of the bath. She just got so excited by the idea of drawing inside the bath. I think this product is brilliant and when mixed with the tablets to color the water, you have a super colorful fun bath that children love!! I will be buying these again! :)

The colors and vibrancy are nice. That’s about it. Do NOT buy these. I don’t know how a company as big as Crayola messed this up but they did. A couple crayons came looking like they had melted before I even opened the package so that was a bit of a concern. We opened them anyways and it was like coloring with paint. The color was so thick and the crayons broke easily. I was able to clean it off the tub easily at first but after they played with them for a while, it got harder to clean. We ended up with a ring around the entire tub and as others mentioned, it got on the kids’ skin and I had to scrub it off of them. Also expect your bath mat you most likely have in the tub to get stained as well. I had to scrub the entire tub with bleach as soon as the kids got out. Extremely disappointing. The $1 at Target worked better

bought the bath tub crayons by recommendation for a good motor skill exercise for my son by his teacher. I could have made them myself, but the work is not worth the price on this. I will buy more when we run out. Using it to get my 5 year old son to do some writing exercises in turns with shaving cream exercises. He loves it, he tells me what he wants to write, I write it on the wall and he copies it. and as a reward for practising writing we play a couple of rounds X's and O's. Writing on tiles works great and is easy to wash off, even after a couple of days. He started full time school, and barely ever gets to see his Dad during the week, as he works second shift. So We started to leave Daddy messages on the wall during bath time and leave them up to the next day, so Daddy gets to read them! Very educational, fun and the kids think they are doing something "bad" by writing on the wall, so this makes it even more fun. Attention with younger kids, this may cause them to think it's okay to write in the wall and next thing you know there may be sharping drawings on your walls ... ;)

Fun Bath Crayons but a Bit Messy These Crayola bathtub crayons are a fun way to keep kids entertained during bath time. The colors are bright, easy to draw with on tile or tub surfaces, and they rinse off with a bit of scrubbing. That said, cleanup isn’t always effortless—some colors, especially darker ones, can leave faint marks or require extra scrubbing if left on too long. The crayons also wear down fairly quickly, so with regular use you may run through a pack faster than expected. Bottom line: A creative and engaging bath toy that kids love, though parents should be ready for a little extra cleanup after the fun.

the lighter colors hardly show up on white at all, most of them dont show up on like,, off color or eve slighty darker shades of bathroom tile.. it is too soft of a crayon(s) overall, large chunks snap off and fall into the water trying to write.

My two year old absolutely loves these! They were all used up within two weeks. I then, ordered more, of course! It's been my experience that the more a child is able to get creative with a toy, the more they are able to enjoy them. I would recommend this product for a child of any age. You just want to make sure they don't think they're candy if purchasing for a very young child. Children tend to think writing utensils of any type are delicious looking in appearance and these are no exception! I am a huge fan of these, myself and I will tell you why. PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS : 1.) These colored writing utensils help bring out my child, and would also bring out ANY child's creativity. 2.) They glide on smooth and with ease as if they put some type of oil into the ingredients. 3.) The colors are beautiful and JUST like you would want them to be. They are very visually appealing. 4.) When it's time to clean up, you will do it in a cinch! They wipe clean and there's no scraping or scrubbing. No residue is left behind. 5.) They hold your child's attention for the entire time they're in the bath tub. 6.) I love that there is more than one shade of most of the colors. 7.) So as not to be wasteful, they come with a little notch on the side. When your child has colored them down, you simply click the notch up to the next level. The rest of the product is kept safe inside the plastic base of the product. 8.) Speaking of the base, they are made using high quality plastic. You don't have to worry about them breaking. The texture of them help to ensure that since your child is creating art in a soaking wet environment, they won't slip out of their little fingers. 9.) Would make a perfect gift option for boys OR girls. I absolutely love these and as long as they are being made, I will continue buying them for my daughter.

I'll say this - my daughters, ages 4 and 2 LOVE these - in that they love being able to write on the bathtub. However, we used them three times and at least two were completely worn down and several broke into pieces. If I get two more baths out of them, I'll be shocked. Not what I expected for the price. I normally love Crayola products, but this is far below the quality I've come to expect. The crayons are actually inside very flimsy plastic cases. The crayons can be easily pushed out too far (these are for toddlers, after all), and when they do, they break. Also, the colors themselves bleed all over everything - tub, walls, fingers, water... so I found I was having to do a second rinse of the kids since they were bathing in technicolor water with these things. They do come off the walls easily when wiped, but because the color bleeds, you have to purposefully wipe the color a few times to get it clear and not smudged. THe upside - the clean up is part of the fun and the kids love taking washcloths to them. I'll be on the lookout for a higher quality bath crayon though... Overall, the concept is a winner, but the product sucks.

I can't believe I paid more than $1 each for each one of these crayons. I am such a fool! I'd seen bath crayons in the store and noticed that even though the crayon looks like a substantial size, the actual crayon is only half the size of each stick...the crayon itself is inside of a plastic tube. I would never spend that much money for an inch or two of crayon! So I jumped on Amazon to look for something similar to what I've seen in stores. When I saw this product, I looked at all of the pictures and it looked to me like there was substantially more crayon in each stick than what I saw in stores. I was wrong. Each stick has very little actual crayon in it. You can't actually SEE how much crayon is in each stick until you turn the package over and take off the cardboard backing. Until then, it actually looks like you get an entire crayon! I feel like I've been jipped! The first crayon my daughter took out of the packaging broke off, too. You can see in the video that the entire tip just broke off. So not only do you get very little crayon, but they break super-easily. Ugh! What a waste of money!!!! I'm so bothered that Crayola would charge so much for this and mislead customers with the packaging!!!!
