Benchmark62020 20 Dog Roller Grill, 120V, 800W, 6.7A

When I was looking for a Hot Dog roller for use at our fire station I came across many listed on the internet. I wanted a good model and was not looking for the cheapest price. I heard Benchmark was one of the brand names, so I looked into their hot dog roller. Out of all I looked at, it was the only one with a three year warranty. We purchased it from Amazon at a great price and shipping was free and we received it in two days. Since then we have used it and it works very well and is very easy to clean. I would recommend this product.

This is a terrible product that broke 3 months after purchase. It leaks, did not get hot enough at first, then it got too hot and burned the dogs. The handles fell off the glass windows. It shouldn't be meant for food consumption, it's along the same line as the "Easy Bake Oven."

We ordered this for Memorial Day Weekend and it was a HUGE hit with the family. I didn’t notice that the buns got too soft from the steam because the hot dogs were eaten so fast. However, I think if they weren’t eaten so fast the buns might have been a little soggy after a couple of hours. I think that problem would be solved by using those individual foil hot dog bags, once the buns reach the desired temperature and softness. I also purchased those on Amazon but didn’t use them because as stated, the hot dogs were eaten so quickly. The machine holds a TON of water so you don’t have to worry about re-filling it for all day use. I hauled out my seldom used crockpot and filled it with chili and set it next to the hot dog machine along with a big bowl of grated cheese and everyone was in Self Serve Hot Dog Heaven. Worth every penny and easy to clean up afterwards. 5 Star Purchase.

Update: after using this grill for our "season" I wanted to update my review to say that it was definitely an awesome purchase. Made the right choice on this one!Used this grill for the first time today. We have a concession at a High School and we needed a grill to replace our old one which was rusted out and could not longer be used. It was a commercial one, but our budget did not support spending over $1000 on a new commercial model. This one seems to work fine. It is smaller so it is easier to clean. The removable drip pan is an awesome addition that our old one didnt have. It was easy to clean. We used a sponge that had the plastic scrubbies on one side and we cleaned it while it was still warm so that it would be easy and the grease wouldn't be baked on. Leaving the rollers rolling made clean up a breeze. So far, so good and it was really just the right size for our needs!

Rather than write a review I will simply copy an email I sent to the company that manufacturers these grills:"Hello...last night after our Sunday night dogs I sliced my thumb pretty badlydue to the extremely poor design (unless mine just happened to slip throughyour QC process) of the drip tray. While cleaning the drip tray it slipped outof my hand and what followed happened so fast I couldn't say exactly whathappened but after I reflexively grabbed for it my thumb was bleeding like astuck pig.It seems that your manufacturing process left a raw edge on the shearedstainless steel punched out for the drip tray. I have pocket knives that haveonly dreamed of being so sharp. I'm talking razor blade sharp. It looks as ifthe tray's edges have had zero dressing after being punched out. Anyone with anymechanical knowledge at all knows that a punched edge in material such as thisinherently tends to leave an incredibly sharp edge behind and if it is going tobe handled the first thing that needs to happen is to dress those edges so whathappened to me won't!May I suggest that you take a look at your process and adjust it such that thisaccident waiting to happen will be eliminated...I'm just glad it was me insteadof one of my great granddaughters cleaning the tray.Thanks for listening."Had the company acknowledged my email (but they didn't), that would be the end of it but inasmuch as this is, in my opinion, a hazard that needs addressing I decided to post a warning here to prospective buyers of this grill. It does work great as far as cooking hot dogs but if you aren't careful during clean up, beware lest you get yourself a sliced appendage...

After going through a couple of other Chinese hot dog rollers (which failed after a few months with moderate use) this one has been exceptional. Yes, it was made in China, but for an American company ,Winco, that includes a 3 year warranty. Replacement parts are also available on the manufacture's website should the need ever arise.

Cooks hot dogs great but needs more time than advertised. Buns can only stay in the steamer for a short while as they get very soggy. Easy to clean and use.

We use this in our football concession stand and it works perfectly for our needs. It heats up fast and I really like the two controls for the front and the back so if you need only to keep hot dogs warm till needed you can and cook others great product and also its made in the USA.

Purchased as new, was clearly used. Dirty greasy, with finger pri ts all over. Parts rattling around unprotected in box. Looks like got used for an event and returned. Not cool when you have a big event booked and you get sent used equipment. Been in the restaurant/food truck game for 25 years, I know what new equipment looks like and how they are package. Can't get a replacement before event new what to do I do????????

after 3 months of use this unit will no longer even power on and heat up. the low quality electrical wiring failed and the on off switch is unresponsive. it's a cheap unit, but still not worth the price.
