OP/TECH USA 1301082 Mini QD Loops - 1.5mm - System Connectors (Black) - Set for Cameras, Cell Phones & Binoculars

I used these loops to attach my DSLR neck strap to my canon G7x and they work great! I wore the camera around my neck at Disney World with no issues.

I was initially worried that the buckles would disengage by accident or that the strings would not hold. I'm happy to say neither are problems. The buckles require deliberate intent and a lot of pressure before they actually disengage. I would say that it's extremely improbable if not impossible for them to open by accident. The strings are also extremely strong. I use these for several Fuji mirrorless cameras. It really takes the pain out of detaching your straps when you don't need them (such as when you use your camera around the home). As you know, having a camera strap on can be a liability at home when you're picking them up off of a table or from a shelf. I've had straps get caught on things yanking the camera out of my hand multiple times. Now I just keep straps off when I'm not outside. I would caution you to check them regularly with the new Fuji mirrorless cameras. These new Fujis have a serviceable ring inside the lug holes which have a seam on them. The edge is potentially sharp and could hypothetically sever the strings if there was enough of a sustained sawing motion. I haven't seen this personally yet, but there are quite a few Fuji forum members who have warned about this. I don't recall ever seeing a true reported case, so this is largely speculation and paranoia i suppose!

These work well to allow me to remove the strap from my camera when using a tripod, monopod, or flash bracket. They also allow me to choose between different straps for different occasions. They are small enough to slip inside of my camera hand strap also. (See pictures.) The only caveat would be that they would be better if they had 1/4" "webbing" strap for attaching to the camera instead of the "string loop" type they have. These were obviously designed for small cameras with the "eyelet" type of strap lug, but I wanted something small that wouldn't get in the way when I am not using a strap. They work fine on a DSLR type of strap lug, but I would recommend keeping an eye on the string where it goes through the strap lug to look for signs of wear. If one string dreaks, your camera is taking an expensive tumble! Luckily these come FOUR to a package (instead of the two pictured) so you will have extras if they wear out.

When in the field we often have easily misplaced accessories to equipment. I photograph and the camera strap, a necessary accessory, can become a nuisance, if not an equipment threat. Installing these loops makes them camera-ready for carry or shooting in normal circumstances. When there is a threat of the camera strap snagging these devices make it easy to disconnect the strap while the equipment sits on a tripod or other devices. The construction allows for easy strap/accessory adjustment.

I've used these for a few years and I love them! I need to order more for the new camera I bought. They make it very easy to connect straps, carbons, or supplemental items to your camera. For example, the rings on my new camera are somewhat thick and the hole is small. That makes it very difficult to attach something other than these mini loops. Once in place, I can attach a strap if I want to carry the camera around my neck or on my shoulder. If I'm using my Cotton vest, I can detach the strap and use the vest's attachment system instead. I highly recommend these mini loops to all camera users as a quick way to attach and detach items from your camera loops.

I didn't read the details completely but you actually get 4 connectors. The photo of the item shows 2 so I had thought that was what I was getting. These seem to be well made. the loop is thicker than most others i've used which gives it extra strength. You can also see that there are 4 holes on both sides of the connector where I think they somehow fasten the loop string to the plastic. It gives me peace of mind that it has these 4 to make it more secure. The fastening clips are tight and strong and I won't worry about them un-clipping either. I like that they have a slight curve in the design which I think helps with them laying flatter when fully strapped. They are small so they are perfect for smaller cameras like the Olympus E-PL1 which is what I bought if for. I wanted to have the convenience of having a neck strap or just a wrist strap and with these connectors its a simple unclip to what I want to use. These really did the trick!

I didn't know how to rate these, since the issue is not with the product itself but with the fit. However, the Op/Tech website does name these as an accessory for this camera, and that is not correct, thus the rating downgrade. Apparently they plan to make a similar product with a 1mm cord rather than the 1.5mm cord this one has some time in 2013. I look forward to that, as this is a great idea.

I love these little guys. I purchased becuase I like to use a BlackRapid strap with my DSLR while sightseeing, but I like to be able to switch back to a traditional camera strap for everyday use. My favorite camera strap does not have quick release clips, but these little loops solved that problem! I think they're better than a strap with quick connects anyway for use with a BlackRapid strap. When I take off the regular strap, the little loops & clips that remain behind on my camera are much smaller (and therefore, less in my way) than the larger ones that would stay behind using a normal strap/quick release setup. These things are small and "dainty" but still seem pretty sturdy. That being said, I have a pretty lightweight camera (Nikon D5100 with 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 lens most of the time). If I had a heavier/nicer camera body and lens, I would be a little more hesitant to trust these loops.

Funzionale e versatile, può essere utilizzato in diverse situazioni. Io l'ho acquistato per la cinghia della mia macchina fotografica. La consegna è stata veloce e puntuale. Consigliato.

This is a device all photographers should own. I like the fact it easy to remove the camera lens and shoulder strap with this clip.

Muy buena calidad de los conectores. Puedo intercambiar correas con mis cámaras o utilizarlas sin correas fácilmente. Hacer cualquiera de estas maniobras no toma más de unos segundos por cámara. Son seguros de usar siempre y cuando se tomen en consideración algunos puntos antes de intalarlos. Es importante que revisen los ojales de su cámara y confirmar que no haya rebabas que puedan cortar eventualmente el cordón. La marca de correas Simplr que utiliza estos mismos conectores tiene instrucciones detalladas de instalación en su página web.

Es la forma mas comoda y segura (explico porque es segura), para`poder cambiar rapida y comodamente de correa para la camara. Para los que piensen en que es un riesgo el tener una camara sujeta por dos enganches rapidos de plastico, les indico la forma en que yo lo soluciono.Busqué unas bridas pequeñas de 3mm -las hay en el mercado- y con ellas sujeto la parte del enganche de la correa, a la parte del enganche de la camara.Como es negra, se confunde perfectamente con el enganche, y no se nota absolutamente nada...Existen enganches rapidos a la venta, que se acoplan perfectamente a los enganches de OP/TECH, y asi puedes cambiar todas tus correas

Le Canon G7X Mark II n'étant pas fourni avec de bandoulière (pas merci Canon pour le prix...) mais possédant néanmoins deux petits crochets, ces accessoires Optech sont parfaits pour se glisser dedans et j'ai ai accroché une bandoulière... Sony lol (tant pis pour Canon). Bref, merci à Optech et à Amazon pour ces accessoires qui simplifient grandement la vie. Il y avait 4 mini-sangles et non 2 dans le paquet ;) super car les deux autres je les ai mis sur le bridge Sony et hop, la bandoulière passe d'un appareil à l'autre en une seconde ;)
