We were getting a lot of heat in through a metal garage door in the warehouse, we insulated the door with this using a 2-sided tape to attach it to the door. We could immediately tell a difference. It took some time to find the roll size that would work best and this one was the perfect heighth for the panels, we just had to cut it to the correct length. Works great!

I have a very 100+ year old house. I was losing lots of heat in the ductwork that runs in the crawl space below the house. I wrapped some of the ducts with one layer of this as an experiment. Heat loss decreased by 20 degrees with only one layer of this insulation. It was very easy to measure, cut, and apply. I'm buying more for the rest of the ducts.

This summer was hot! Add to it that I live in an old house that had bare metal ductwork. The A/C unit was replaced with a much more efficient one and on the 90 plus degree days, my ducts would sweat which ruined some drywall. After pulling the drywall down, I realized a little insulation would go a long way and it absolutely did. PIA to get to all the ductwork but this wrap works wonderfully! No more sweaty ducts!

The material was easy to use and install for insulation of inside garage doors however it could have included adhesive or adhesive snaps to better hold the insulation to the garage doors.

I installed this in October and now it's February. have done some calculations, factoring in average temperature to calculate furnace efficiency year over year. My furnace efficiency has increased significantly since installing this, on average saving me about 9.75 gallons of oil per month. The last price I paid for oil was 4.40/gal so at that rate I'm saving about $43 a month. More if prices go back up. I got rebates for installing it, but even if I hadn't this would have paid for itself in about 3 months! Definitely recommend! It was easy to cut to size and wrap around my ducts, and then I secured it with the special tape for duct sealing (not duct tape - the shiny stuff). I didn't get quite enough for ALL my ducts so I definitely want to finish the job!

Excellent product. I have been scouring the internet for 6 months looking for some quality thermal insulation to install in my Mustang so I can put my new carpet in. I haven't found anything that is reasonably priced. It's insane how expensive thermal and sound insulation products are for a car. I refuse to pay over a dollar a sqft so been driving without carpet. When I found this product I was sceptical because it was a new listing and had no reviews. But finally something affordable, so ordered 40 sqft. Came in 2 only days not 4 - 6 days and let me tell you, I am impressed and very happy. Ordered 100 sqft additional and that was here in 2 days also. I recommend using 2 layers, the second layer makes a big difference. I installed 3 layers in the hottest areas, 2 everywhere else. Now when I idle my engine for an hour everyday on my lunch break in direct sun light, my car gets chilly inside. It's crazy, I love it

I've ordered this many times in the past without trouble, but this time it took almost a week to get, trucked here from the East Coast, which I can deal with, but I opened the package and I could clearly see that the entire one side of this insulation had hundreds if not thousands of little pin prick holes in the foil. Clearly something happened during manufacturing, but the lack of quality control and the fact that I waited a week for this is very very disappointing. Buyer beware. Rather than try to return it I just installed it with the damaged side against the hard service that I'm insulating. Disappointed.UPDATE, the seller has reached out and made things right. Bought a different brand a year ago but this one recently. It’s not as good in quality as my first one but it works. I find the foiling to be thinner and therefore not smooth. Lots of wrinkles etc. it also has excess foiling on the end which is not needed and I have to tuck it under. Next time I’ll buy the other brand again.
