Out of the 5 or so different brands of quality 19 momme mulberry silk pillowcases that I have so far purchased in the $20-30 range on Amazon, this Beauty of Orient wins for the silkiest of silk feeling!!! Every brand feels silky as they should, but there is just an extra rich and luscious softness to how this one feels to the touch. I always hand wash my silk pillowcases inside out in Woolite with cool water before using, roll up in a dry towel to remove water, and lay flat to air dry, usually smoothed out across the top of my ironing board. This pillowcase washed up very well, several times now, with no noticeable color bleeding, and dried with minimal wrinkles back its fabulous silky smoothness! I change silk pillowcases every few days and this one is now top favorite of mine in rotation! Bravo, Beauty of Orient!!!You want to know what else I noticed? The inside has the best well-sewn and tightest seams of the several different brands I have purchased in the price range. The hidden zipper runs smoothly with each zipper end actually finished off with a straight and clean French seam, not just cut off and barely tacked down at some strange and crooked angle, as an after-thought. It really is the little attention to the finer details like this, that help your brand stand out in the vast variety of other silk pillowcases, so don't go and start cutting corners! From the glorious silky quality to the extra attention to the inside sewing details, I am eager to purchase a few more silk pillowcases from Beauty of Orient!

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve always heard that sleeping on a silk pillowcase does wonders for your hair and your skin and last night I used my silk pillowcase for the first time and when I woke up this morning my hair had zero tangles there was no breakage on my pillow and I didn’t even have to brush my hair when I woke up because I was able to just run my fingers through it! I’m just upset that I didn’t make this purchase sooner because I’ve experienced a lot of breakage in the past due to over coloring my hair and if I would have purchased this pillow case sooner I could have avoided that. I am in the process of allowing my hair to heal and I don’t use chemicals on my hair anymore and when I woke up this morning it felt so soft and luxurious I am so happy about this purchase I would suggest every woman invest in these pillowcases

Really love the quality of this pillow case. Super soft and light weight. Went through several washes but still look the same. The zipper is still intact, not like other brands which the zipper was broken after several washes.

This pillowcase is very soft and leaves my hair looking amazing. The tag inside says it is 100% silk and it looks very much like it is. The fabric is pretty thin and I can see the print on my pillow through the fabric. My only problem is that I read that silk can be very cooling and I'm a hot sleeper. This has not really kept me cool through the night although it has been better than most other pillowcases I've used. I'll continue to use it through the winter but we'll see when summer comes around if I need to switch to a cooler fabric. So far though, it has been amazing. I haven't noticed much change in my face but my hair looks different and better for sure.EDIT: 12/2020Less than a month after purchase, I noticed a couple snags and now I have quite a few more. The pillowcase is still very much intact and still makes my hair look nice but it’s not as pretty as when I first bought it. I think a thicker silk pillowcase may have been better; though more expensive. Worth the buy still but keep it in mind it may not last years.

This pillow is everything that is promised and more. It is extremely soft, feels great on head/face. I used to use satin pillow case but this one simply elevates the whole experience by a couple of notches. Nice to have it and wish I had more of these so I don't run the silk cycle very often. Also it seems to have minimized hair breakage but too early to tell for sure

I always wanted silk beddings but the prices are usually too high for me. This pillowcase has affordable price while maintaining all the good quality of pillowcase. It is nicely packaged and comes with wash instructions so I don’t need to spend extra time googling.The pillowcase looks beautiful and fits perfectly on my pillow. I love the zipper feature that keeps my pillow inside. I used to have an Egyptian cotton case that doesn’t close on one end, and my pillow slipped out all the time. I thought Egyptian cotton was great but mulberry silk is definitely on another level. The silk fabric is lightweight and it feels fresh & cool on my skin when I go to bed. I’m not an expert on skincare but I have noticed less acne and breakouts on my face.So far I’m really happy about this purchase. So glad I made the switch!

Great pillow, but it does tend to show darker spots that reflect oil or saliva from a night of sleeping.
