Wizarding World of Harry Potter Chocolate Frog Includes Hogwarts Wizard Card, 5.3 oz

Perfect gift for my friend who is a Harry Potter fan! I know she will love it!

I bought 2 for my kids. Although the card is cool, the chocolate arrive a globular mess. Looked like a doo doo, and was basically inedible. A bit disappointed.

I have purchased these a bunch of times and while the chocolate frog isn't the best tasting, the cards are worth it. I have gotten more than just the founders but I did get several repeat cards when I ordered the 2pack. Just as with the books and movies, you won't know what you will get card wise which I personally don't mind. I probably buy more later on cause the card collecting is just way too much fun. Definitely a great gift for kids and adults alike.

So, I noticed in the reviews that the frogs sometimes come broken. That being said, I was buying it for the card inside rather than the chocolate, which I can't eat anyway because of my peanut allergy (for those concerned, the frog comes wrapped in plastic, so the cardboard box and card itself shouldn't cause a reaction unless you are extremely sensitive).The box it came in was heavily packed on the inside with paper. The chocolate frog box was wrapped in plastic, and the frog inside was undamaged. I had assumed that the frog would be hollow, but it is solid chocolate.On general searches, it appeared I would only get one of the four Hogwarts founders (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin). However, I was shocked to find Gilderoy Lockheart. Perhaps there is a new wave of cards which have come out? It would be good to know.If you are buying it for the card, as I am, then don't expect much. However, if you are buying it for the card, perhaps you should expect a surprise.

The card inside this box is what all fans of Harry Potter seek. It is five-sided and holographic and just pretty! Great for avid fans who want to "collect them all!". FIVE STARS for the card and Box!!!!The chocolate itself is... well just terrible. After the second bite on the opposite side of the frog (I was hoping that first bite was just a fluke) I wasn't going to torture myself again. Awful. I took off two stars for such terrible taste. It is a very LARGE frog inside. It would have been nice if it had been more palatable.I had bought a package of several frogs with crisped rice in it wrapped in plastic/foil. They came with less cool cards, but the chocolate and crisped rice was VERY palatable. I liked it so much I had 3; one right after the other! Chocolate can be goooooooooood -_^But this is mainly for the lovely displayable box and card: the chocolate itself is not very good... or edible :P

I like the packaging, it looked just like the one in the moves, it even came with a 3D picture (though I wish it moved). it taste very good. I would like to buy it again, but won't. $20 is to much, $10 or $15 is better.

The chocolate frog was a present to 9 y.o. boy who’s a big fan of Harry Potter. He was very happy with the box and the frog, but was very-very upset (to tears) to find a card (on the bottom of the box) with an image of Salazar Slytherin ("a bad guy"). There are different boxes contain cards with different images, but you have no way to choose a card. If you want to buy another card somewhere via Internet, it will cost you about $20-$25 per one card.
