The buttons on the remote have to be hit sometimes multiple times before they engage. The horizontal movement worked good, other than having to push the button multiple times but the vertical movement would go to the highest spot after pushing the up button or to the lowest spot after hitting the down button. I tried many times to get it to stop in the middle but it would only go to the top or bottom, nothing in betweenI thought possibly the remote battery was dying, I changed to a new battery and it still did not work properlyAnother thing I did not like is the remote buttons are close together and in the dark it is difficult to push the right one and multiple times, I ended up pushing the wrong button. I am sending it back and ordering an American made one that is a couple hundred dollars more. I guess the old adage of good equipment does not cost you money it makes you money applies here. I would not recommend buying this light.There is no company name on the box, no instruction papers, no customer service number or company contact info of any kind. If a customer was to lose the remote, there is no contact info to even purchase a new remote

Just received yesterday and already put it to work. I read a lot of reviews before buying this one. One that stood out to me was that it would not hold up at 70 plus mph. I'm here to tell you it did just fine. Remote works from a great distance away. the light itself is blinding bright. Plus, the distance in which it shines is remarkable. all in all, a great buy!

I absolutely love this search light! I tested the magnet strength by driving as fast as 70mph on a super windy day and it held up just fine. I'll be using this to feed horses at 4:30 am before work and while I'm camping.

Very good for the ranch to do wildlife surveys. I wish it was more acurate to point exacty where I try to look at. I am getting better with it but it is never gong to be spot on. It seems to have steps as it moves and unable to move smoothly and stop at any specific point. It is more difficcult with up and down movements.

Pros:- Easy setup- Remote easy to use and has good distance, I tested it effectively up to about 40 feetCons:- Wire is thick, can be hard to wire with your vehicle. I feed it through a rear window. Would have liked if there was a smaller profile or flat wire, possibly even select portions for this very reason.- Rotation and pitch settings are incremental, can be somewhat hard to track something smoothly or set to a specific angle.

The light is bright and shines well. But movement is very jerky and cannot flow as needed in a lot of case's, I could not adjust the light on the object. I would be to high or one click it would be to low. It needs to flow in all direction and get those in between areas.

Very bright , however first order came damaged / broken Which did not allow the light to move up or down just side to side, reordered and the second one was packaged differently from the first one. Seal on the product box was open by someone else and remote came scratched and missing the battery. The second light also moves side to side by but has little to none up and down movement.Overall the light is bright but the features are not working .
