Quikstrip Automatic Wire Stripper - Strips Wires in Seconds

I am so glad that I purchased this tool. My helper left me during a nav system install after he cut several of my wires. I was able to use this tool to strip and splice more than 20 wires together and get my system and my car hazard and ac lights working again. I had never stripped wires before but this was a breeze to work with in a very tight space. My husband was uber impressed!

Will not grip wire. Will not strip insulation. I returned this item. No adjustment on device. The reviews do not pertainTo this item. There is no adjustment knob on item.

I've purchased the Quick-Strip Cutters twice now. The first from the 800 # on TV, then online. The first purchase included a large and a small version. Both worked beautifully, the innovative way it stripped the wire was a great time saver (and so fun - I looked for wire to strip!).Unfortunately, the large pair broke. The pin that held the entire lever at the top broke, fell out, and no matter what I did, the tool was now a paperweight. But Wait! I still had the smaller version. They worked just as well, on most sized wire. They however broke the same way shortly thereafter.The online set was just as good. Both sizes working as advertised, so well in fact, I considered becoming an electrician...only for a millisecond; for just as the others, they broke the same way, same place, though the smaller ones lasted several months.I'll be buying them again, because they are so efficient and darn, I'll say it again...FUN! I would hope that they last a little longer.

One day a guy tried to sell me something I thought I didn't need. I listened to his sales pitch as he demonstrated this product. I ended up buying two! This is a fool-proof tool to cut and strip wires. I wish I'd had these many times over the last 20 years, especially when I think about all the times I used a knife to cut and strip wires. This tool is solid, and will eliminate all my frustration and wasted time when I do some wiring again.

I picked up one of these at Walmart. I was extremley skeptical of this "As Seen on TV" product but figured I could return it if it didn't work.To my surprise it worked as advertised! It cleanly cuts the housing back with out cutting through the wire itself. Ive used this on everything from house hold wiring to installing automotive sound systems. Its a great time saver.Ive used mine lightly for about a year with no complaints. It still works as well as the day I bought it.

these are awful it states they strip 4 wires at once but it has a hard time stripping 1 wire.

The product is of fair quality. I found holding onto the wire in front of the stripper made it easier to strip the wire.
