Solid function and contact. Our bathroom lights were occasionally flickering, and the “builder’s choice” cheap wall switch turned out to be the cause. No more flickering with this switch. I had always thought any switch was good enough, but I was wrong.

This switch does appear to be better constructed than some of the other "home grade" Decora type switches that I have used. The feel is a bit stiffer but the product seems more rugged, quiet and definite in its operation. It uses 3 easy to access screws to connect the electrical wires (including the ground wire).

Not sure why it asked me to rate "adhesion" 1 to 5 stars. This is a more rugged than base model switch in the decora leviton style. It works as expected. Nice quality - has ground contact to mounting screw and supports multiple methods of attaching wires.

The switch is good, but it feels weird when you turn the light off or on. It doesn’t click, the switch is soft. Weird feeling but works fine

The construction of these switches is significantly beefier than the common residential rated switches most homes have, or home centers sell. Everything from the contacts, to the frame is heavy duty.There is no clicking sound when using.

Feels a bit more better quality than cheaper ones. Has a more “softer”, solid sounding click when you switch it on and off which makes it seem better quality, if that makes sense.

I was mainly looking for a switch that has a quiet click, to expensive and this one checks out. There still is a click but way less obnoxious than all other cheap ones I've tried.

I finally got around to installing these. They are not "quiet". For $10 each, they should feel and sound great. They feel cheap and make a hollow, fairly loud click noise. They also have the "Leviton" name on the switch, as if customers want to see brand names on their electrical switches.The $3 version of this switch, which I guess is the non-commercial version, makes a much softer click noise. Or go with the Leviton SureSlide dimmer, which has a nice, very quiet, toggle switch at the bottom.

I replaced a switch that had a rocker about to fall off with this switch. This will be the first commercial quality switch I've had installed. I'm hoping the rocker will last longer than the first two residential grade I had on the same switch previously. (both had same rocker issue take place with a few years of use each) It is quiet as it has much less 'click' of which I've never minded. A 'click' is fine in my opinion. So, it has a softer feel as you click the switch on and off. For me, it's fine. The most important thing about the switch is longevity of durability without failure. If I ever come back to update, we'll all know why. If I haven't, we're still good. At this point, would buy again to replace any other failures of residential grade.

Many wall switches don't work for the minivolt fireplace switch. This switch worked very well.
