Spending for so few yards
Great stuff but expensive.

Deceptive. Barely works for what it is.
I wanted some leather cordage to hold my wedding ring as a necklace instead of on my finger. I bought this remembering that Kangaroo leather is the strongest natural leather (Mythbusters is a hell of a show, thank you Adam.) and because it seemed like my only option for Amazon. I have several problems with this, but I didn't have many other options, so I'll just deal with it.1. This doesn't feel any stronger than cow hide. It easily breaks when pulled. I had to spend my morning braiding it to make it feel like I won't lose my ring from the weight of gravity pulling on the weak leather.2. It is paper thin. The photo is very cleverly but deceptively taken to avoid showing the thickness. It is 1/8th of an inch wide as advertised, but nowhere near the thickness you would expect. It likely is genuine kangaroo leather, but because of how thin it is, it is essentially unless it is braided. It won't hold a thing.3. You do not get very much, obviously. The spool in the picture gives you the idea you'll get a lot and ALSO shows a completely different spool than what you receive. The picture looks nice, the product is cheap. Cutting a small notch was helpful to keep it from unraveling, but that should've already been done. (PS: I know no one is buying for the spool, I certainly didn't, but it is something to point out.All in all, I guess you can get it if you NEED some 'roo leather fast, but you're much better off getting it from somewhere else if you can wait. This will do for now, but I will likely not use the rest and/or give it away.

Is this really kangaroo leather?
I don’t know if it is I made a bull whip with it and it’s falling kinda stressful I spent 5 days straight making it

Don’t be a sucker like me
Buy it from the Springfield leather. It’s way way cheaper and you actually get the correct length.

High-quality leather lace
I used this to make a bracelet for my cousin's daughter for Christmas, wrapping it around larger leather cord. I am happy with the results, and with the lace itself. It is quite thin, so don't expect it to be too tough - I wouldn't use this on its own - but it is fairly robust for material of its dimensions. Well suited for finer work, but I'd go with something thicker if I wanted a bit a durability to it.I quite like the Brandy color. Normally I prefer natural coloration, but most kangaroo leather is very pale and that would not have suited this particular project. The Brandy is a rich, reddish-brown on the shiny side, and a darker, earthy brown on the rougher obverse. You get plenty on the spool for what you pay, so it is economic as well.Would recommend.
